Good to see Phil retire healthy thank God. I’m from upstate NY. Raced AM in district 3 and 4. More during the Paully Carpenter days. Always related to Phil’s charm. It’s very much an upstate NY thing. If you’re from there you know. I’m on Kodiak island in Alaska now. Crazy, gonna miss his attitude, and seeing the respect he always got. You knew he always had a chance for a hole shot 👍
Seeing this family first hand at D34 races I can attest to the true gritty give it all go for it attitude! This is what racing is all about !! Congrats on everything you’ve achieved Phil.
Phil should try and be like a swaney, and train these young bulls. He obviously has the experience and knowledge. He damn near saved sextons but for the starts. He would make a great coach because he wouldn’t pull and punches and give it to the rider straight. That’s what people really need to succeed. And if they can’t take it then their just soft as baby shit and were never going to make it anyways
