It was the best period of my life. Thank you.

the memories of just getting home with no responsibilities and being able to escape into a charmingly beautiful and cute fantasy world where you could progress and get stronger or just sit around and chat with online friends for hours. the memory of being obsessed for months and being fulfilled even with the simplicity. making small amounts of money to spend on NX to buy the cool accessories. listening to the track for each city and remembering your first time through the world, taking in each theme; each city having music that perfectly matched the vibe of the map and the npcs that inhabited them. deciding which of the classes had cool skills and trying them out for the first time. finally completing jump quests to get things like your first pets. collaborating with friends to do something fun like party quests or taking on zakum (back when he was a big challenge). thinking back and wishing you could relive it all over again but time doesn't stop and the world has changed so much; for you and as a whole. knowing there are old friends you'll never be able to talk to but being so grateful you at least got the opportunity back then. still being able to play maple nowadays and being happy for it but it doesn't quite scratch the itch. i feel the same nostalgic happiness and sadness at the same time. and videos like this where we can get a faithful remaster do such a great job of taking us back to reminisce on all the amazingly wonderful times we had. hope this was close to putting into words what you're feeling. from one torn mapler to another

I'm sad that's its over but also so fucking happy it happened. Being 7, sneaking up in the early morning to the family computer back in 2009 before school just to log and and do absolutely nothing but walk around random maps exploring will forever be one of my deepest core memories.

Feel you. Sometimes I feel like login in again. Maple world is amazing, mabye more than before. But it became very cold place because it turned into solo play game...
So relatable. I once created a new account to play again but it felt totally different. You don't need other's help to finish the tasks anymore so it's not possible to find the same feelings back ;(
This makes me sad and want to go back to being a kid again playing maplestory after school and on the weekends. The initial sound track when you are logging in and selecting your character, then waiting for it to load into the world gave me so much serotonin back then... I wish I could go back in time to relive it again. It's not the same anymore.

lol you still play? the game ruined my 3 years, and set me back from reaching my goals...but if you see it as the WORLD to you lol... i was a level 200i/L mage before bigbang...shows how little life I had...im now 33 finishing my doctorates, I should've finished 3 years ago...but I was depressed at home playing this game all day long.
@@jinsu0504 In my case, I only made it to level 30-something, but the experience was more about the friends I met on it and the higher-level areas that I would sneak into just to listen to the music. I played it for about 3 years too, but it was during my middle school days. I have not played it since and never will again, but only because nowadays I prefer playing games that I own physically. If they ever released a single-player version of it that came anywhere close to the original experience, I would play that.
@ramsesjfg7668 I only made it to about level 30-40 on my characters too, but my brother had me helping him grind his high level characters for him so with my characters I spent more time socializing and doing random things. I loved how the music used to gradually adjust to the city themes as you moved maps closer and closer. Gave the game much better feel of immersion than now in my opinion. I used to avoid using scrolls when I wasn't in a rush so I could run through more maps and enjoy the music while feeling like I was on an epic adventure. I was just finishing elementary school when I first started playing this game and I played until the big bang update came out when I was in highschool. So many good memories from OG maplestory. I played some private servers that are pre-big bang after that, but they would wipe fairly regularly, which made it hard to get into.
if only the same Maplestory back in the early days was released again i would play it in a heartbeat.... the days where we would PQ all day and sit around chatting/chilling...

But growing up, I’ve come to realize that no matter how much time you’re given, you can never reclaim those precious, original memories. Greeting new players in Lith Harbor. Zoning out in Ellinia, quietly listening to the enchanting music. Watching high-level strangers drop items in Kerning City. Flirting with someone I liked in the Free Market. Taking the airship with a group of friends, braving the challenge of Balrog together. To all the adventurers out there, these are the memories that belong to us. :)

Maplestory BGMs have never let me down. From the warm nostalgic music of then I started playing when I was a child, to the chilling new themes that still make my hair stand as an adult.
My life in 2008-2009 was not the life I live today. I really did depart on the ship in 2010 when my parents divorced. Maplestory was part of my life. Still is. Shoutout to continuing the journey on MapleLegends.
Oh, yeah dude. I was godly as hell. Lol. xD Don't forget the snow shoes, and scrolled work gloves. Bahaha. I even started merchanting with friends and eventually a guild. We would stay up all night refreshing the client when there was maintenance/patches/server shutdowns .. competing with foreign country meso sellers for the hottest Free Market spots to set up our shops, lmao! xD And Shit was my life. Lots of good times. & I truly learned a lot of real life applicable business /economics lessons & little me didn't even I know it. Roflmao. OMG, just thinking about it makes me laugh so hard! Having a sauna robe back then was such a source of pride 😆. I never imagined it would become such a precious memory that makes me both happy and sad. That time is gone forever, but I'm lucky it happened to me. Missing the old me 🥺.

Above the treetop hits hard. I was lost with my friends in what was our first online game during summer. We spent hours grinding slimes, hpq, etc.. thank you for taking me back to when times were simple
I think there was magic in this game. I remember coming back home to play maplesea back in Singapore, and the endless trading in the FM and doing pqs actively to level. Back when everybody was gachaponing the brown work gloves. Back when the game was much simpler and easier and friendlier rather than all the complex pay-to-win and the bots hacking the maps today.

Started playing Maple in SEA server when I was still in my teenage years back in 2005, quitted after a while, then came back in 2016 and I've been playing since then for 8 years without stopping. Every single music piece is like a fragment of my soul and words can't describe just how happy and touched I am to be able to listen to all these BGMs come alive in the form of an orchestra. この公演に聴けて言葉で言い表せない程嬉しくて感動しました。。。生きていてよかった！🥲💓
세상에.. 한국에서 했던 오케스트라보다 훨씬 퀄리티 더 좋네;; 진짜 경희대쪽 마지막 오케스트라 가셨던 분들도 느낄지 모르겠지만 도원경 부분이나 보스의 웅장한 부분이 일본 오케스트라가 훨씬 압도적이라고 느껴집니다.. 진짜 다른 분들이 말하는 서정적 분위기도 그렇고 진짜 세심한 디테일이라고 해야하나? 그부분까지 한국에서는 템포를 빠르게 하다보니 중간중간 틀렸던 부분도 일본은 부드럽게 넘어가는 느낌.. 하.. 현장에서 직접 청음해보고 싶다 ㅜ
이런말하기는 싫긴 한데 오케스트라 급 자체가 너무 다름... 도쿄필하모닉이면 우리나라 원탑 서울시향보다 잘함. 근데 우리나라 공연은 비주류 오케스트라 썼어서 좀 아쉬울 따름. 2018년인가 kbs교향악단 썼을 때 라이브가 진짜 좋았는데 더 이상 안부르더라고요. Kbs는 대신에 로아콘 하러감 ㅋㅋ...

여긴 도원경 브금까지 있네요........................... 이럴수가 너무 좋다 ..... 개인적으로 도원경브금 다 좋아하는데 원곡느낌 잘살린 상태로 오케스트라버젼으로 들으니 넘 넘 좋네요.... 한국에선 미스터치랑 약간 박자 안맞았던게 조오금 아쉬웠는데... 새로운 구성으로 들으니까 좋네요..... 우리도 더 길게 오디움 도원경 까지 해서 오케스트라 내줘.....

와..... 한국 오케스트라를 까는 건 아닌데 내가 기존 메이플 오케스트라 브금 공부할 때 100시간 넘게 들었는데 확실히 여기가 훨씬 비교도 안되게 퀄 높음.......... 악기 디테일이나 곡을 최대한 원곡에 가깝게 편곡하는 것에서부터 차원이 다르다,,, 특히 19:54 에레브 Queen's Garden 브금은 부다페스트 버전도 그렇고 한국심포니 오케스트라 버전도 그렇고 원곡 메인 하프 선율이 아니라 클라리넷이 메인 선율로 바뀌었는데 이부분 원곡처럼 치는 거 처음봄......... 에레브 브금 집착광공으로서 진짜 눈물난다,,, 앞으로 이 버전으로 정착ㅜㅜ

還記得小學的時候超流行楓之谷，班上好幾個同學組隊打任務。好不容易搞到+跑速的泳圈，在魔法森林遇到騙子說自己交易鍵壞掉只能用丟的方式互撿，看到他丟錢袋也不疑有他，結果撿起來只有1000，當場坐在電腦前爆哭(祝你現在過得很好)。楓之谷就是這樣充滿回憶的遊戲。
オルビスやエルナスが実装される前からやっていました。
オススメに急に出てきて、なんだこれはと聞き入ってしまいました。
高校生や大学生の頃の記憶が蘇ります…

I even started merchanting with friends and eventually a guild. We would stay up all night refreshing the client when there was maintenance/patches/server shutdowns .. competing with foreign country meso sellers for the hottest Free Market spots to set up our shops, lmao! xD And
Shit was my life. Lots of good times. & I truly learned a lot of real life applicable business /economics lessons & little me didn't even I know it. Roflmao.
I miss all of those good times & friends I made along the way.

OMG, just thinking about it makes me laugh so hard! Having a sauna robe back then was such a source of pride 😆. I never imagined it would become such a precious memory that makes me both happy and sad. That time is gone forever, but I'm lucky it happened to me. Missing the old me 🥺.
20年过去了，听到这些BGM还是忍不住感动，一瞬间回到了20年前的那个夏天跟一群小伙伴们在网吧一起冒险打怪升级的日子。现在再玩也没有当时的感觉了。
To everyone studying/working for something in his/her life to happen… be sure that it’s going to be great, what ever your struggling with… it will turn out to be good! What ever happens.. happens! Most importantly keep faith and positivity in your self because that will help keep you up and strong!

I was lost with my friends in what was our first online game during summer. We spent hours grinding slimes, hpq, etc.. thank you for taking me back to when times were simple
I think there was magic in this game. I remember coming back home to play maplesea back in Singapore, and the endless trading in the FM and doing pqs actively to level. Back when everybody was gachaponing the brown work gloves. Back when the game was much simpler and easier and friendlier rather than all the complex pay-to-win and the bots hacking the maps today.
miss those days... listening to these BGM made me teared. it will never be the same again .... every sound track reminds me of happy memories in maplestory while grinding

Started playing Maple in SEA server when I was still in my teenage years back in 2005, quitted after a while, then came back in 2016 and I've been playing since then for 8 years without stopping.
Every single music piece is like a fragment of my soul and words can't describe just how happy and touched I am to be able to listen to all these BGMs come alive in the form of an orchestra.

세상에.. 한국에서 했던 오케스트라보다 훨씬 퀄리티 더 좋네;; 진짜 경희대쪽 마지막 오케스트라 가셨던 분들도 느낄지 모르겠지만 도원경 부분이나 보스의 웅장한 부분이 일본 오케스트라가 훨씬 압도적이라고 느껴집니다.. 진짜 다른 분들이 말하는 서정적 분위기도 그렇고 진짜 세심한 디테일이라고 해야하나? 그부분까지 한국에서는 템포를 빠르게 하다보니 중간중간 틀렸던 부분도 일본은 부드럽게 넘어가는 느낌.. 하.. 현장에서 직접 청음해보고 싶다 ㅜ
이런말하기는 싫긴 한데 오케스트라 급 자체가 너무 다름...
도쿄필하모닉이면 우리나라 원탑 서울시향보다 잘함.
근데 우리나라 공연은 비주류 오케스트라 썼어서 좀 아쉬울 따름.
2018년인가 kbs교향악단 썼을 때 라이브가 진짜 좋았는데 더 이상 안부르더라고요. Kbs는 대신에 로아콘 하러감 ㅋㅋ...

グランドフィルの方々にとっては知らないゲームのはずなのに、ただのゲーム音楽だと一蹴せずに、こんなに真剣に丁寧に大切にプレイヤーの心情に寄り添って演奏してくれるのがとてもうれしかったな～。プレイヤーにとって音楽はずっと過ごした世界を象徴する大事な要素であって、各人の思い出、人生につながるってことを理解している演奏者じゃないとできないだろうな。
韓国のプレイヤーも言及してるように、本当にクオリティが高い。そこはグランドフィルの繊細な演奏技術だけじゃなくて、編曲家の力による部分も大いにあると思う。できる限り原曲に近づけて、でもオーケストラだからこそ出せる良さも打ち出していく。バランスが絶妙。
子供の頃から今までの思い出がブワァ～って甦ってきて泣かずにはいられないよね・・これまでもこれからも愛してるぞクソキノコ

생명이 시작되는 곳부터 거울빛에 물든 바다 빛이 마지막으로 닿는곳까지 너무 마음에 든다 특히 손뼉으로 원곡 느낌 살린 부분이 너무 좋다 셀라스 엔딩곡인 굿바이 마이 프랜드도 해줬었으면 아쉽네

여긴 도원경 브금까지 있네요........................... 이럴수가 너무 좋다 ..... 개인적으로 도원경브금 다 좋아하는데 원곡느낌 잘살린 상태로 오케스트라버젼으로 들으니 넘 넘 좋네요.... 한국에선 미스터치랑 약간 박자 안맞았던게 조오금 아쉬웠는데... 새로운 구성으로 들으니까 좋네요..... 우리도 더 길게 오디움 도원경 까지 해서 오케스트라 내줘.....
경희대에서 할 때 도원경까지 하긴 했습니당.. 그걸 유튜브에 안올려줘서 그렇지 ㅜ

와..... 한국 오케스트라를 까는 건 아닌데 내가 기존 메이플 오케스트라 브금 공부할 때 100시간 넘게 들었는데 확실히 여기가 훨씬 비교도 안되게 퀄 높음..........
악기 디테일이나 곡을 최대한 원곡에 가깝게 편곡하는 것에서부터 차원이 다르다,,,
특히 19:54 에레브 Queen's Garden 브금은 부다페스트 버전도 그렇고 한국심포니 오케스트라 버전도 그렇고 원곡 메인 하프 선율이 아니라 클라리넷이 메인 선율로 바뀌었는데 이부분 원곡처럼 치는 거 처음봄......... 에레브 브금 집착광공으로서 진짜 눈물난다,,, 앞으로 이 버전으로 정착ㅜㅜ

개인적으로 제일 좋아서 듣자마자 소름돋았던건 카인브금
가장 오케스트라의 진가를 보여줬다고 생각한건 더스크 브금 (가장 웅장함, 인게임에선 이렇게까지 좋다고 못느꼈는데 스케일에 압도되는느낌)
동양적인 도원경 브금도 너무너무 좋았습니다
알고리즘에 떠서 봤는데 몇분 보자마자 왜 일본이 그토록 영화음악 강국인지 바로 알아버린 느낌..
한국에서 열린 메케스트라도 가봤지만 이 정도로 좋진 않았는데, 그냥 방구석에서 컴퓨터 스피커로 듣는 일본 오케스트라 버전이 훨씬 더 좋네요
같은 곡들이고 그때도 좋았지만 그냥 "우와 좋다~" 정도였지 이정도 감동은 없었어서 뭐가 다른걸까 싶어서 유의깊게 들어보니
일본버전이 아주 작은 미세한 음 하나하나 놓치지 않고 악기로 다 표현한거+강약조절이 미쳐서 그런것 같아요. 원곡보다도 더 좋아요..
