    Oh my - this could be a game changer with new builds and refurbs - especially as Amazon Alexa compatible. Just WOW!

      @@tlcdirect Thank you it worked perfectly. I put the receiver in a Wiska box outside the shed. It responds better than the mk one and the switch is stylish and modern.

    The cost per unit is quite expensive,I have been using sonoff wifi for around 3 years does Quinetic have the option for mobile app and can it be setup for automation scenes

      Good Afternoon Martin,
      I know of the Sonoff range and they are a great option for hardwiring a home to be app controlled, or even add Alexa and Google Home.
      They however do not have a physical switching method, especially one that runs completely without cable (even power) like the Quinetic range does.
      In answer to your question, yes, there are 2 different types of Quinetic receiver, switch only or switch and Wi-Fi.
      A switch and Wi-Fi version can be controlled via the smart life app, Alexa or Google Home and one is able to set scenes and timers, etc.
      The Quinetic switch operates completely of kinetic energy which powers the unit and sends a small radio single.
      This means the switch is completely portable, mountable anywhere and requires absolutely no cabling.
      This radio signal is picked up by the receiver that is wired anywhere on the live feed which then switches the circuit.
      The advantage of this is the ability to have a switch and smart home control simultaneously.
      Any other smart receiver will be rendered inoperable if connected to a switch which is turned off.
      You can see the range here: bit.ly/37A6Fug
      Best regards,
      William Purnell

    I see 1 gang and 2 gang with transmitter. Do you have one that is a replacement for 1 gang 2 way Switching where the current 2nd switch is in hard to reach so I want to replace it with quinetic

    • @tlcdirect
      @tlcdirect  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dear Justin, I’m afraid that our system is not intended to be used in conjunction with conventional hard-wired switches as this would dramatically limit its features and capabilities. Where possible, I suggest you install In-Line Switch Receivers or simply install the receiver(s) in the ceiling, bypass the current switches and install the new wireless ones in their place.

    I’ve got a customer that wants to use a quinetic switch to operate garden lights from his shed offfice, but he also wants to be able to switch them with his existing ‘old fashioned’ switch in his kitchen.. does anyone know if this is possible? Tried contacting quinetic directly but no joy.

    • @tlcdirect
      @tlcdirect  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Damian, thanks for your enquiry. The best option is to replace the current switch in the kitchen with a QURS1W, a wireless switch with built in receiver - bit.ly/3s0jRQP
      And place a QUWS1W, wireless switch in the shed - bit.ly/3t1ZUdF. If you would like to discuss your requirements further, please give our customer services team a call on 01293 565 630.
