I was in love with this girl in the 90's. Dang, the 90's had some of the best hip-hop!
I miss Aaliyah so much. I was in love ❤her. Her death got lost in the aftermath of 9/11. I remember hearing of her plane crash as I was sitting at home watching CNN and I was floored. She had everything going her way, and BAM! she is gone forever. Never to bear children or grow old with her grandchildren. Her DNA lineage gone. Her sweet voice silenced forever. At least we have her videos and her Movie to watch and remember how bright her star shined for that brief period in time. RIP Baby Girl.😪

I can't Imagine how her Parent's must had felt loosing their daughter so young , from what we know her Mother & Father never truly recovered from loosing her , & sadly Aaliyah's Father died in 2012 of Kidney Failure , Her Mother & Older Brother are still Alive & are doing Well , her Brother lives in Japan & Is A Film Writer & Director .
Love Aaliyah please do more of her songs! She was in Queen of the Damned. She was supposed to be in the Matrix sequels but was cut out as she had only filmed a few scenes before her death.

I remember being on holiday in NY and seeing a poster of queen of the dammed several stories high in time square.i loved her in that and Romeo must die.
