Can we use the same free tier EC2 instance everytime by stopping it whenever not in use? 2. I have installed the CLI and when I run "aws version" in the EC2 instance connected terminal it shows "Command 'aws' not found, but can be installed with ..." error msg, but whenever I re-open a new terminal (not connected to ec2) it works.
1. Yes. 2. You have installed AWS cli on your local computer. When you open a new terminal, by default it is on your local computer. When you open a terminal connected to EC2, AWS version does not work because you have not installed AWS cli on the EC2 instance.

I have some gaps in between due to family medical care and job switch. Now I am learning DevOps through your channel. After learning can I get back into IT sector or will I have to face any difficulty? Please help me regarding this doubt.

1. Yes you can but remember that AWS won't charge you for ec2 instance but it will charge you for EBS storage used by that instance.
