I used that slime tube yesterday, the first time I tried it it didn't work but i hardly put any slime in. The next morning I did it again and put more more slime and this time and it worked great!
This was actually super helpful! I was planning on purchasing some two in one slime from my local autozone, but I had no way of knowing if it would work!
I have.fat tire ebike , I got a screw stuck in tire .Went totally flat .I used this stuff and it worked great .Tire inflated and no air escapes.Been riding for.2.days.now with no issue .Will update if something changes
I'm surprised it worked without him riding it .Unless he did but didn't show that part. And he's right it works. I just got the same tube yesterday and used it for my fat tire ebike. Works great now Edit: that was dumb of me to say. Because he did say hes going to ride it for .2 miles
What? Nobody mends their punctures these days?...they just replace the inner tube? Thanks for the demo @Gear_Now. Does anyone know if the sealant remains active inside the tube for punctures within the next 2 years, or the slime actually deteriorates after 2 years (even on previous mends)?
Before I ended up swapping out my tires, I had slime sealant in them. I had eight punctures in 6 months with how much riding I was doing. The slime did the trick every single time. To get to my point, the tire wore out before the sealant did. I just replaced the tube at that point as well, and added more slime. Lol
I picked up a goat head thorn in the tire of my E-bike. I used Slime 2-1, fill my tire to 55 psi which was in the middle of what my tire is rated for. Three days later, it’s still holding pressure of 55 psi. It might be a good idea to be proactive and use Slime in your tires before you get a flat.
It's a valve core not stem!! This stuff works but will not prevent crap!! I always carry a spare tube and the tools on me. Also you should over inflate a bit then ride it like a mile to get best results. It should even try to fill in the hole in the actual tire
15psi? That's why you're getting pinch flats. At that pressure all it takes is one good pothole. I know because my street is more like potholes holding hands than pavement.

That’s amazing
Did you spin it? I think you're supposed to spin it for a bit after injecting
yes, rode it around the block some

I did ride it just didn’t fine that part I rode like 20miles right after
@@Gear_Now oh, true. My bad bro
It worked in my riding lawnmower tire👍
Exactly I feel for things like that it’s perfect

depending on what it is and ebikes are becoming very common and the back tires are not as easy as normal bikes

Yes my fat tire ebike is still rolling with this stuff in it year later
does it work on a presta stem valve
I don’t think so
@@Gear_Now thx
yes, it works on a presta valve. Just takes a little more effort because the presta stem is narrower than a shrade.
Valve needs to be in upper right corner according to the instructions.
Yeah I realize that after starting going through the video
You cannot tell me this isn’t Theo Von
hhaha I get that alot

Thanks for the tips
Or you could mend the puncture
Yes it works for that

Thanks for the feedback I’m going up to 20psi asap
I put that stuff in my tires now they won't seat in the rim for shit. I've strapped it and put soap on it.
Oh dam I have not heard that glad got it worked out
😂 it can hold 15 psi, that's completely useless I ride at 80 psi
lol thats alot
Toob
Yup
Never worked for me. I put more than the amount in the instructions and still get puncture every time and flat tire from simple devil's weed
Interesting I have heard some might not work but 98% seems to have good success with it
tOOOOOOOOObe
Yuuuuup
sorry bud but you need to learn your lefts to your rights 1min in. also slime is a temp fix to get you home
lol cam switches things like a mirror and my Trailor tire is still going strong but agree I would have a backup.
No. The yellow label slime is the emergency one. The 2 in 1 and red label is designed as a "repair" and "prevent" sealant for small punctures
