Thanks freddy, what a struggle. Good to see what modules are behind. I shall be doing my hatch soon. I need to identify reverse wires for diy parking sensor kit from hatch connector.
Wow! I remember asked for this in a previous video of yours! The previous owner of my Auris should have accidentaly lost the courtesy light connector behind that panel, maybe changing the light bulb... I think that I could retrieve it if I am lucky enough. I have read the explanation you gave me weeks ago, but to be honest with you I did not even try because as I was reading it looked like a bit difficult, but now I am feeling more confident. So happy that the algorithm brought me back to you! You definitely earned one sub and the like ofc! Cheers from Spain ;)
@@freddesgarage Hi there! I am writing to you sitting in my Auris trunk. I was able to do it! Fortunately, the harness was just hidden behind the panel. Only by removing the hook and pulling a bit the panel from that corner, I was able to poke my hand through the gap and retrieve the harness. I am so happy! Thanks again for your help! Was very useful. Cheers!
There is a hidden bolt behind the folding handle for the rear seats. That's why it was so tight. At 6:39 your are breaking 2 small screws holding the handle to the back of the panel.
@@freddesgarage Yes, that’s my point. The panel and handle must be removed as 1 unit, and to do this there is a hidden screw behind the handle. By forcing it off as you did, you broke 2 screws. There is no ‘long clip’.
Well, you might be right on hidden screws,i know there is one big screw behind a small panel behind the handel, but when i reinstalled the panel it "snapped in place"around the handel..so i still don't think i broke anything..🤔🫣
Please watch when i remove/replace the rear wiper motor or when i remove/replace rhe 3 rd brake light 👍 th-cam.com/video/ttU-DaM_z4k/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/dAPnAikn4YE/w-d-xo.html

Hi!
I never removed the handel, just the panel,an it was held in place by sort if a "long" clip right where i pryed when it popped off 👍😊

Hi Freddie, can you please trim removal on the Auris hatch trunk door, I've been trying to remove it but scared of breaking the plastic clips. Thanks
