Thank you! You are finally giving a lesson that is presented slow enough for an “old” beginner to understand and learn from. Now maybe I can understand your other lessons more clearly.
me,a self learning hobbyist without any formal training in music. i find Jack's videos very different from other such materials on the internet. there is always a video in this channel which is the answer to my issues that come up while attempting to create and play something on my own. after playing few notes i am stuck.the remaining directions dont come though i know that mind and fingers want to go somewhere forward. another very useful video for aspiring people like me.
Hi Jack. Excellent as usual. Love that approach. I love the little ideas of throwing in triads/double stops/hammer ons and slides, and bends.....it's so cool how all these little things make a huge difference in your sound. Love this stuff and very helpful!!! Thank you so much again for your videos ❤❤❤❤
Hello jack! I wanna say that thanks to your videos, I started to transcribe as late intermediate. (i know maybe a bit late, but everyone’s puzzle is different) being so, would you mind sharing your wisdom as it regards to bending and vibrato? Its amazing, aesthetically too, how you vibrate the G on the eight of the second string, with your middle finger is mesmerizing! So hopefully you can see this, i wish the very the in your life! Remember to enjoy everything, even the bad ones! P :)
In terms of application, this is the most important lesson one can have in guitar. If you have this fretboard knowledge, you can do anything in guitar.
Are there any books, materials, courses you would recommend before buying & studying your courses? I'm beginner only knowing pentatonic basics. Would need to brush up internvals harmony basics etc. Looking for roadmap / guidance here. Thank you!
jack's guitar teachings resonate as foundational. either very stripped down to foundational or, if it's or Nate, very connected to foundational ... so it is turning out that everything becomes simple and foundational. there's a lot of confusion out there. Seems to me that Jack Ruch points to the right things over and over again.
You first learned by listening to "tapes and CD's". Gee Jack, you don't look that old. Ha ha ha. 🤣🤣🤣 I remember those days. But then again, sadly, I remember black and white TV too. 🙄 ha ha. 😉 Great lesson, Jack. You're a master.
JR is a real pro. Never disappoints. Much thanks.
Easily the best teacher on TH-cam.

One of the best teachers I have ever seen. Big fan Jack. I have been for a while. Big Steely Dan energy here to my ears. Thank you very much.
This is very helpful, thanks Jack!✌️

Thats one expensive guitar
Dude, I'd like to hear what you have to say, but you trail off at the end of pretty much every sentence. Has anybody ever mentioned this to you?
Oh, Man!!!
Thank you a lot!!!

Great lesson. So does the Collings mean you got rid of the cherry 335?
