I'm surprised about the Breitling not selling. A Breitling Chronomat 39mm from the 90s is on the list. Those Chronomats were peak Breitling before they got HUGE. Even Bruce Willis wore his personal Breitling Chronomat reverse Panda 🐼 in Die Hard 3

No buddy that’s is exactly how business works sometimes you take a loss. Just like when i offered you my watch and you wanted to pay me 20k less then retail but list it for retail price. I’m pretty much done with grey market guys all they want to pay is less than wholesale to make 10-15% on wholesale flip but first try and retail it store front for 25-30% ROI if it doesn’t move they wholesale in a chat and still make 10%
got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on AMZWATCH 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.

I usually really like GP watches. But on video I do not like the looks of this one. The case and especially the rubber strap just look cheap. Maybe it is one of those watches that look and feel much nicer in reality than on video so you need to handle them live to enjoy them. Has happened to me more than once. When Breilting released their new Colt model (with the new "B" Logo), after watching videos and pictures I though that I would not like it - also many people did not like the new design. But after trying it on at an AD, I loved it and how it looked on my wrist so much that I immediately bought it. And I've been wearing it a ton since then and it still makes me smile every time I put it on. Another problem with the GP might be that it is a colourful BMW edition which already limits the potential buyers to BMW fans/drivers and that it is 46mil - so definitely a very unique piece, probably the right watch for someone with already several pieces in their collection. By the way, the Breitling in the video is a stunner (I might be a bit biased though because Breitling is one of my favorite watch brands). At that price it is almost a steal. You could even get this one if you just want a single good watch and be happy with it forever.

You know this. Your clientele won’t support the price you’re asking for those watches. It’s not just the market, but also knowing your customer base and what they’re willing to pay. Trade to another dealer or sell for a better price.
If I had the budget for a new luxury watch, I'd buy that Breitling in a New York minute. I love it. The GP falls into the trap of being a luxury watch that looks like a toy from across the room . . . RM built a whole brand on that idea but I don't understand the appeal at all. I'm surprised the Cartier hasn't sold to the sort of person who likes yellow gold & leather, but I'm not made for either. What you're actually saying with this video is that you're not willing to take a loss on any watch because you don't understand the time value of money. It's better to take the loss and move the stale inventory so that you can reinvest your money in other watches that will earn you money. The most important part of your business model that seems to be escaping you is turning over inventory to make sure you take advantage of the effects of compounding returns.
Remember kids, whenever a watch dealer tells you, "x is how much i paid for this.". Take, minimum, 15% off that number. Typicallly 25% off. Then you probably have the REAL price they paid.

The breitling is fantastic, I’m sorry but that is always going to be above the Daytona for me. The Zenith original is also above the Daytona along with most watches including Hamilton and most definitely Hanhart . The Cartier is a fantastic dress watch, absolutely beautiful.

Three great options that I can't believe you're still holding. The Santos, in particular, is an all-time classic.
