You're very welcome! I have done a review on Salem (it's in my library), but I have not done reviews on Selma or Lydia. I can tell you from researching them that compared to Salem, they're going to be more razor-cut and therefore have a shattered border and won't have the neat rounded border that Salem has. Selma and Lydia also have a side-swept bang vs. a straight across bang and more razor-cut edges framing the sides of the face than Salem does, And then finally, Salem is made from the VersaFiber product, only comes in 6 colors and is heat friendly, where Selma and Lydia come in 22 colors and is not heat friendly. VersaFiber caps seem to fit a little roomier than standard PY caps do, too. Then it's the feel of the fibers that are different: VF fibers feel so real. I hope all this helps! A tip I learned from my stylist when I still had thick enough hair to still have it done: If your bio hair color doesn't match the wig color (depending on the colors), you can use mascara (or I have used brow gel) to temp color your sideburns the same or similar to the wig color. Then it won't look so weird if you want to put the wig sides behind your ears, or at least put some of it back.

You are correct-neither wig is considered heat-friendly but if your hot air brush stays around 300-325 degrees and is made of plastic (no metal parts on the barrel), you’ll have no problem using it to coax the fibers into behaving better!
