Best's style can be predictable and easy to counter by the High End Pros. But he is the most entertaining imo. He is the epitome of shoving a square into a triangle slot and makes it work 🤣🤣🤣

One thing I've noticed from several of these PvZ's now, that I dont really see you mention other than in passing: After the Dragoon midgame, there has been a trend of strong Archon late-game, and it really seems to shut the defilers down - with Plague being useless, and Dark Swarm affecting about equally as many Hydras as it does goons. With a decent amount of Archons, even Cracklings start to struggle against the splash damage of Archons - especially with a little bit of Zealot tanking to get in the way.

Best cast good storms but Sacsri's counter with dark swarms was comparatively weaker. I played very little StarCraft so I don't know, but would it be a good strategy for a Zerg player to make a few mutas just to sacrifice them in order to snipe high templars? Is it possible for the replay software to show where the players have their views currently focused?
dude... yaaa. 2v2 is so cool. It's so cool when 1 player defends a 2-1 attack and the other counters, or when it's 1v1 and 1v1 at the same time. So fun to watc h.
Hey Artosis :) I have a Zerg vs Zerg question if that’s okay. Why do pro players never choose to get more Spore colony’s, get early hydras and push for a longer macro game? I understand that hydras do explosive damage and therefore are not as good against mutalisks, but alongside a few spore colonies once they have range mutalisks wouldn’t be able to get much done, right? I’ve just wondered for awhile if a Zerg player might be able to innovate something new that pushes out longer, more exciting ZvZ games. Hope you had a great Christmas :)
The recent Shine vs Jaedong video highlighted this. Your suggestion doesn't work because it loses to mass mutas and +2 carapace. Terran has marines (or even valks as a niche answer), and Protoss has corsairs. Zerg doesn't have a good answer to mass mutas except their own mass mutas and superior micro. If Zerg masses too many spores/sunkens then they let the other Zerg expand all over the map.
If you turtle with hydras, the opponent just takes a third with map the map control you gave to him, then gets lurkers himself and beats you at your own game
Yeah Kespa was forced by Blizzard to switch over to sc2 in 2011. It lasted 2 seasons and the OSL and MSL and eventually E sports on TV died in Korea in 2012.

Ah, yes. Falcon Paladin shows and comments on the stats. I would like to see which unit on each side had the most kills and which unit per capita (so to speak) had the most kills. In this game I think the high templars were the hero unit.
When you have 12 (control group's worth of) dragoons, they should just *More AoE* Plasma Charge the air and annihilate everything! No I just like either go reavers or corsairs with web... the latter will just help so much I'd argue to countre when you have good storm control like Best.
Interesting macro game. Spoilers! seems like that queens nest was just a bit too slow against Bests insane macro. He was just pumping out units the whole time.
How can anyone not think Storm is the best spell in the game. Dark Swarm has so much counterplay and Vessels counter them pretty hard. Storm shuts down zerg completely and makes terran bio obsolete while still being good against Mech. There is no question what the strongest spell in the game is, it's Storm.
Not just smurfing. It hides the identity so if you play vs players they don't know who you are , you're just annonymous. You'd get an advantage if they know it's you because play styles
Make em move to a mineral patch. This lets them clump and "phase" in between units. Then give them the stop command when theyre in between other units and theyll spread and push everything around.
U drill by either clicking mineral patches or gas geysers that you have vision of. They go through everything and when they on top of units you stop and attack and it bugs everything out while they are on top of eahcother but some of your workers will start attacking, while other untis can come quick to finish them.

Best is probably my favorite player. He really is the best macro protoss.... Like "standard" wise play he's the best hands down. Mini and Snow are like another race 4thr ace but Best is the best Protoss, but Protoss just sucks so it's hard to win championship.
These players are different tiers ... sacsri made like 1 pro thing (defending that zeals rush/push) and for the rest of the game played pretty bad. Nice match though, always fun to see X winning this extremely hard mu.
