I have a love hate relationship with Tana, she switches up on people depending on what's trendy. I really like Brooke and watching that podcast felt like Jojo treated Brooke like a side interviewer and Tana like a friend but while they were both in the same room in the same conversation. It was a bit odd to me. Trisha really engaged with both of them and it was a big gust of fresh air compared to the podcast with Jojo. There were a couple of moments where Brooke was asking a question to Jojo to actually be apart of the conversation and Jojo turned to Tana to respond. I wonder if anyone else noticed that too

i feel like colleen has always had a much younger, more “innocent” audience. jojo and tana talked about how different their audiences were and how that impacted them feeling able to connect with each other. and it took that time of jojo growing and tana mellowing out for them to find that common ground.
tana’s brand is drinking and smoking and partying and wild and crazy, jojo’s is sweet and innocent and fun and colorful, so it makes sense that they wouldn’t gravitate towards each other. colleen’s was more closely aligned to jojo’s. plus miranda’s is very immature and childish. i mean i even remember being a kid and feeling like i somehow related to colleen, idk. so it makes sense that her and jojo would bond faster than tana and jojo. and also, i think it’s a poor choice of words to say colleen was her “friend”. i’m sure that’s what colleen called it, which is heavily part of the grooming, but a relationship like that should be closer to “mentor”.
it’s also worth noting that jojo said she always felt a lot more mature and adult than her age, which plays into it. and growing up in the industry makes kids mature way too quickly, so i’m sure-in some capacity-she felt more on colleen’s level. getting blacked out in la was a lot less attainable than playing with slime on the floor in the living room.
colleen _groomed_ the girl, so it makes sense that jojo feels the way she does. i don’t think she should speak on it so much because it does feel like she’s minimizing the trauma other people have gone through, but she seems like the type of person to do what she thinks is right. _which has clearly been manipulated by colleen._
also, i understand why jojo wasn’t acknowledging brooke as much. i thought it was really weird too like girl got not one word in, but she’s also to the side of and behind jojo. i have adhd too, and ik for sure if someone isn’t actively in front of me, i have a hard time acknowledging or communicating with them. especially if there is someone in front of me that i am talking to. it’s very out of sight out of mind in that sense. but also, she’s a public figure doing podcasts, so that’s something you gotta be mindful of girl.
