I have a love-hate relationship with this ride. It used to be one of my favs, buuuuut then the last few times I rode it, there were always technical difficulties with our elevator. Doors not closing, seat belts not buckling.......one time we even had an extended pause right before the drop so we were in PITCH DARKNESS. IT. WAS. TERRIFYING. I had an anxiety attack the moment I got off and almost passed out and yeah-it was AWFUL! Now, no matter if it’s a ride-through video or something like this, as much as I ADORE the theming and the ties to the old tv show, I always get a bit of anxiety now....BUT I STILL LOVE THIS VIDEO AND I LOVE YOU TOO MOLLY! I hope you and your family are staying safe!
This is my favorite attraction at WDW! The menu is actually full of Easter eggs. Each of the names of many of the items include the names of original Twilight Zone writers, producers, and the creator (Gateau Chocolate au Rodman = reference to Rod Serling, whose full first name was Rodman).
My favourite bit is the bit you didn’t quite manage to get a shot of. When you’re just about to enter the building and can see all the trees on your right. This is SUCH a great effect, because you can’t see below it really looks like you’re overlooking this beautiful hotel garden. It so cleverly convinces you to imagine something because of what you don’t see. It always mesmerised me. One of the most beautiful rides ever built, and probably the best.
I usually don’t like drop rides but I think the ToT is the best drop ride that has ever been made. First, you don’t have shoulder straps so you get a little more “air time” in my opinion than other rides making it more thrilling. Second, the algorithm for he accelerations/drops is just genius, you never know if you’ll shoot up or drop first. And finally, the theming absolutely cannot be beat. Great video!
Tower of Terror is absoLUTEly my favorite ride! It's got all the same care and attention to detail when it comes to the theming as any other Disney ride, but it appeals to my spooky side in a way that only the Haunted Mansion does. Add in that this is a thrill ride instead of a slow omnimover and Tower of Terror is the winner in my book!
Thank you for another great video! My daughters and I are supposed to be heading down to Disney this week :(( But at least we're home together, safe & healthy, and watching your videos make our day!
I love the Tower of Terror and I love this video!! The ride is thrilling, the theming is amazing, and when I was there in Feb I had the best coffee over at the Joffreys near the exit!! Loved sitting in the courtyard there just taking it all in 💕🏩
7:15 - Henry Bemis, one of the few names I ever memorized from the Twilight Zone. Later when I saw Batman I always figured Bemis put on weight and just went with a monocle instead of glasses.
Ohhh no Molly Missed Talky Tina in the gift shop. (Unless they have moved her she used to be on the shelves behind the register) but TOT is the best ride ever based off of the best show ever with a Disney spin!
A natatorium is a building that houses a pool. Great video Molly. Still my favorite attraction... haven’t experienced Rise or Runaway Railway yet though
Okay, Molly, you forgot the chalk circles drawings on the ( if I recall correctly) right wall in the boiler room you can hear the little girl cry and talk, she walked through the wall and her father had to crawl in to get her from the ( space-time hole in the wall ). which they escape in just seconds before it closed upon them. I could be wrong but I believe Fresh Baked Disney had an interview with the Lady that did the voice of the girl ( mentioned above) and the bride on the way out of Haunted Mansion, Hurry Back..
A great ride!! My favorite episode of Twilight Zone was Nightmare at 20,000 Feet; the gremlin with WShatner! Such a creepy, fun, well written story! I loved watching the original tv show, The Odd Couple, with Jack Klugman! Great job as usual, Molly(and editors🤪)!❤️🖤🤍
Surprised that the "cigarette removal" of the preshow video wasn't mentioned. As many know, Rod Serling often smoked during his introduction of each segment. As Walt died of lung cancer, the Imagineers felt it best to digitally remove all images of cigarettes and smoke that were in the video. Also, the four load towers are named (from right to left) Alpha, Beta, Charlie, and Delta. The two drop towers are named (left to right) Echo and Foxtrot. :)
Rod smoked in lots of the intros but he didn't smoke in all of them and this is one of the times he didn't smoke. The Imagineers did not digitally remove any cigarette.
Thanks, Molly! Great video! TOT is one of my favorites at WDW, always try to ride at least once. I’m also a big fan of the classic (read: mostly the b&w ones) Twilight Zone episodes.
Love the whole back story and set up, I just can't ride it, I love rollercoasters but that drop in the elevator messes with my ears. Great video though
Missed one of my other favorite things about this. The back of the tower is designed the way it is because it can be visible in Epcot looking to be past Morocco. It was supposed to look the back fit in and was part of that pavilion.
In the library on the bookshelf is a book titled "To Serve Man" from the episode "Time Enough At Last". No, just kidding. It's from "Eye Of The Beholder".
I love the imagineering of this attraction but I have always been afraid of it. I finally rode it for the first (and only time) in August 2019 because my teenagers loved it and my 9 year old wanted to go (but with me). I went, loved the theme but I cried (tears just came out!) during the drops. I found it terrifying. I am not sure I can work up the nerve to try it again.
Michael Eisner was great and loved his ideas and wish we had someone like him in charge because he was ahead of his time.

I LOVE the tower of terror. And P.S. Molly, a natatorium is like a swimming club.
Yes (normally) an indoor swimming pool

Yes, The Tower of Terror is my 2nd favorite ride. My all time favorite is It’s A Small World.
I am a touch skeptical about that "hidden Mickey".
Love the idea of staying at HTH!, listening to screaming all day! Caesar really reminds me of the henchmen in Toy story 4.. pretty creepy!

Hey Molly! Thanks for another great WDW video. I love this ride and can’t wait for the parks to re-open.
Yes I love the tower of terror! It also scares the hell out of me! Hahaha great video Molly!

This may or may not be true but when they tried the elevator drops it shattered the windows in the complex underground.
I went to disney world last year and rode tower of terror 5 times. Absolutely my favorite ride
My favorite ride in all of Disney World!! Thank you for this video! Nicely done Molly!!!
Awesome job!! Molly you were a thrill! I love that ride
This is my favorite ride! I’m a big twilight zone fan, thank you for pointing all those props out Molly!❤️

A natatorium is a building that houses a pool. Great video Molly. Still my favorite attraction... haven’t experienced Rise or Runaway Railway yet though
It comes from Latin (swim = natare) and still shows up in Spanish (natacion = swimming)
There's also a hidden (sorta) Mickey in the pre-show in the form of fire bells behind Rod when he talks about the service elevator.
I thought they closed the tower of terror to build a new attraction. I love the this ride though! I was sad thinking I wouldn’t be able to ride it
These videos always brighten my day! Always looking forward to Molly!
We love Molly
One of my most favorite rides in the entire Walt Disney World kingdom!!!!
Hola Molly! In three cups already! Woo Hoo!!☕️☕️☕️
AllEars Molly That’s three large cups Molly! 😀☕️☕️☕️
Molly, A natatorium is a building that contains an indoor swimming pool. Diane Weslosky

i love the twilight tower!
ToT is my favorite ride at WDW!! I usually head there at RD and ride it three or four times.
YESSSSS I've been waiting for this video
Thanks, Molly! Great video! TOT is one of my favorites at WDW, always try to ride at least once. I’m also a big fan of the classic (read: mostly the b&w ones) Twilight Zone episodes.

Hi Molly!!
Great video! A natatorium is a swimming pool (usually indoors)!
Natatorium is an indoor swimming pool.

There’s another hidden mickey on the ground behind the podium of the fastpass line. I don’t think many people get to notice it though
A natatorium is a swimming pool (I it specifically refers to an indoor pool but I'm not positive about that)
A natatorium is a swimming pool. :)
Natatoriums are basically indoor pools or a building built around a pool
My favorite ride at DHS .
In the library on the bookshelf is a book titled "To Serve Man" from the episode "Time Enough At Last". No, just kidding. It's from "Eye Of The Beholder".
This video is too long it’s should have been 13 minutes
But really this should have been longer
Thanks Molly for reading my comment
On the ride when you came down and saw the people I went on TOT a bunch when I went in December and I saw them only once
I would have loved to stay at a tot hotel I think that would be awesome.
Yeah... this is my least favorite ride. You can find at the Rockin’ Roller Coaster instead. Great video regardless of my opinion, Molly!
I want to make a correction, the drop sequences themselves are NOT randomized, they are randomly picked from 4 drop sequences.
I love the imagineering of this attraction but I have always been afraid of it. Molly was that your editor we see thru the keyhole?
Natatorium is a pool!
Natatorium is a indoor Olympic sized pool
a swimming pool, especially one that is indoors.
The menu was a missed opportunity to put humans on it from the episode To Serve Man
Where is the pickle jar?
She was close, Its accualy 199Ft and 11in
( Want proof? Watch behind the attraction. )
Ahhh I’m early only posted 33 mins ago
