does it work for desktop connector files? I want to repath multiple local files to BIM360 desktop connector folder. But different models are stored in different subfolders. Files names are the same. thank you
Hi. Great video. I was trying to figure out a way to relink .rcs point clouds into Revit, but this method doesn't work for that. Any ideas how one would re-link point clouds via Dynamo?
Great video, can this script handle the reload process if the filename isn't exactly the same? Often issued models will have the revision with the filename somewhere? OR, most likely a 'Detached' suffix within the filename. Many thanks
Hey Luke, thanks for the feedback. That's a great point and it does! I just tried with models renamed from "_20" to "_21" after the upgrade from R20 to R21. Thanks for bringing that up, I'll update the description.
unfortunately, the script will use the local cache directory path and set the linked files as Absolute path type. At least in my first testing of this. it may behave differently depending on how the folder path is selected in the pick box.
on further study. I found nodes to break down and concat the directory path into a corrected string with the "AutoDesk Docs://" front end, but now I need to find the node to convert that to a var for the injection node in the script for repathing. starting to look like I might have to employ Python for that..
How do you reload multiple files from a different location?

Is there a way to use a path that is on AutoDeskDocs, for Revit files that are not live linked?
Hi, how do you repath CAD links?
Great video is this workflow only for linked revit files or will it also work for linked IFC files ?

You have to download the packages mentioned in the beginning of the video.
I think your package needed should be more visible and in the comment section
