- This took me the usual 3 days, I forgot about this video project until I rewatched a Inscryption video by Matpat and Mark. Anyways I made this so everyone knows that the Archivist version exists and also Mycologist's music is the same with the Photographer (default uberboss music).

I like how P03 struggles to give The Photographer an actual personality, because the organic nature of how Leshy acts is incomprehensible to a machine like p03.
He cannot comprehend the fact that he needs to touch grass

Here’s a thought: If these bosses were never intended to be in Inscryption, that means Gamefuna didn’t make these tracks. P03 is responsible for composing these bangers.

i just realized something...
Leshy is the storyboard (i.e. taking photos places, and how he always gives detailed descriptions of his characters and battlefields),
P-03 is the mechanics (he literally drags on about the game mechanics and how the way leshy played was lopsided, even letting you build and modify your cards),
Grimora is the lore (you need to find out the backstories of her npcs in her section),
and Magicus is the graphics/visuals (...cmon, he straight up has a paintbrush and the ability to modify cards, not to mention he paints his students to turn them into his cards...)
Grimora's kinda a stretch but the rest make perfect sense, somehow
I feel like Grimora would be replayability in a game since off her whole raising the dead schtick but yeah I guess so
imo , she'd probably be both replayability and lore. @@captaincryptic

Story, Gameplay, Audio, Art - core aspects of a video game
Grimora being audio is a bit of a stretch, but like, idk, notes being written on paper by quil? Ghouls and skeletons making sorts of noises? Melancholic mood?
I just realized, they use the scrybes theme as a base. Leshys deep and dark leitmotif Grimoras electric and exciting melody. Magnificus sublime classic-ness. And Po3's segmented and clockwork-like rhytim.
I love how menacing all the other tracks are until you get to golly.

I like how the four Uberbots are based on the Scrybes themselves.
The Photographer is Leshy, because of his camera.
The Painter is Magnificus, because of them both involving painting.
G0lly is P-03, due to them both attempting to upload things.
The Archivist is Grimora. Mainly because the Archivist and Grimora share something in common, which is deleting files.
oh yeah, they are absolutely based on the Scrybes.
Epitaphs can be seen as archives, could explain the relation.
I agree with this and I love it.
the Archivist is Grimora I think because she's the one who wanted to delete Inscryption, requiring file access, which she later gets.
i mean, it was kind of obvious since the locations of the scrybes in act 2 and the locations of the uberbots in act 3 were the same.
The Photographer is just aggresive with the music

The Blank Canvas is a banger

wow.. played this game till the end and only noticed just how scary/good these themes are with headphones
I like the Photographer, I also like its little photographling-drone, its boss battle has an interesting mechanic and all. But I feel it is kinda "forgettable" when compared to the other 3 uberbots.
true true, I really like the photographer but the personality and gimmick it has is not as memorable as the other Uberbots.
i think its on purpose cause po3 despises leshy so much

@@LordFiscus Also because The Photographer's theme is just the generic Uberbots theme, like with the Mycologist fight, without any variation like the Archivist and Blank Canvas/Painter fights.

@@polybeatus yeah, I uploaded this because not everyone likes the soundtracks enough to make something like a compilation.
I didn't even clock that G0lly had two themes... I really wish I took my time with the game, rather than racing through it in two days :((
yeah, I tried to play it slow and take in the experience since there wa a LOT of content left.
@@TrickLunar I was using the game as a distraction from coursework, and I don't regret it at all tbf. I was also tryna get through it so I could watch other youtubers playthroughs without being spoiled. I wanna try playing the game again in a couple years time to see if I can relive the experience
Has anyone noticed that these boss themes (excluding the variations) is just a remix of Scrybe of Technology (P03's battle theme in act 2)?
I guess it makes sense because you're technically not fighting real bosses, just extensions of P03.
Also, real shame that the Mycologists Uberbot doesn't have its own variation, just uses the one the Photographer has.
Yeah, it's basically just P03 putting on a new personality, but is still P03. Like an 8 year old wearing a batman costume and talking like batman. So the themes of the Uber-Bots are costumes of P03's theme,
I love the Archivist's theme more than the Photographers. The Morse code beeping and the wobble effects that apart of the main beat are really good. It's more upbeat despite it still sounding like P03 is shredding my ear drums. I love all these themes so much. It's a shame the composer didn't leave in the Archivists theme in the ost.

We um, ghats kind of the point isnt it? They are all P03's point of view for the 4 tribes.

Botopia was really just PO3's way of making fun of everyone from the world he came from.

the only bad part about this game is how little you play it when you have a busted up card that ends the duel on the first turn :( Not a single uberbot took more than 3 turns
yeah, I mean, thats prob why you dont want to busted cards in the first place
Just realized all the themes kinda play the same, listen to the first 5 seconds of the first 4 themes and you’ll know what I mean

I know I'm late, and it's not directly related to the video itself, but still: Imagine if there was a happy ending, it sounds pretty lame at first, but I think I have a good idea for it. Basically You convince all scrybes to unite and make the best game together, without overthrowing each other. P03 might get turned into a 1/1 card with no sigils that will cost 2 energy because he sucks, but everyone else combines their efforts and create an amazing game with several hours of gameplay, many bosses, and basically everything You could dream of. It's unrealistic, maybe even irritatingly sweet, but I think everyone deserved a happy ending, which they never got.
This sounds cool although i think it whould be unfair to only punish po3. After all magnificus is just as much of an ass
@@finnvaneekelen4966 Magnificus thinks he's just testing his pupils, while P03 knows how much of an ass he is, he constantly belittles and mocks everything not related to him, and also he planned to spread Inscryption (Probably successfully since we can play it) to be the boss everywhere, and that would've caused many bad things since OLD_DATA isn't good for any sentient being, so yeah, he is the worst one out there.
@@ZizixxSamurai yeah thats true he is the worst one probably but magnificus still tortured his pupils and refuses to even talk about them, hell even leshy locked the lther scrybes in cards forcing them to live through being killed and sacreficed ove rand over. Grimlra is the only one you can make a case for being innocent
He doesn't really torture them so much as extensively test them. As his duty as the Scrybe of Magicks, he wants to make sure his deck is chock full of powerful, worthy wizard students who would keep him in his place as the Scrybe so Noone replaced him. He knows that to be skilled in Magicks is a very difficult task to achieve. So he gives difficult tests to his pupils to make sure that are sufficiently skilled in Magicks to be honored in his deck.
I'd like that, but not for an happy ending.
I'll unleash my inner P03, but I'd like to have alternate scribes for kayce mod. Leshy's great, but I'd love some other's scrybe mechanics, and PO3's board is also the most intense of them all.
At most a reskin would be nice.
