This happened to me. Created 100 quality listings following the rules to a T. Etsy banned my store shut it down with no explanation and didnt get back to me upon my inquiries into the matter. Very discouraging. It was all my own original creations too.

Creative Fabrica's commercial license does not give someone the right to resell their designs as-is. They may be used as a component of another design created by someone to sell.
Been watching a bunch of your vid. Just found your channel. All great stuff. So question on the copyright and trademark. It’s one thing to ensure your idea has not been previously copyrighted, but are you actually copywriting or trademarking all of your designs? Is that recommended?

Thank you.. ❤ It's really so aggravating that people are allowed to trademark very common, even two word phrases.. I don't think it's fair or right. I can see someone being able to trademark a common phrase for a store name... but for exclusive rights to put on tshirts, etc? It isn't ethical, imo.... I'm just venting here lol... I wracked my brain for a phrase for a design I came up with, finally thought of it, put it on my shirt, fell in love with it.... checked the trademark and sure enough, it's pending trademark. So unfair. It's like they are trying to limit competition instead of just competing in the marketplace.. not cool, imo.

Hi Hannah and audience, thanks for the great videos. I have a doubt about the bundles of designs downloaded from Creative Fabrica, which I saw in another videos that it is apparently prohibited on Etsy because it excludes the creative element which is necessary to be sold on Etsy. However, as I do not have the skill to make good designs myself, what I usually do is to download some of these ready to use designs, the ones that are full POD licence off course, and change them, change colours, put some new textures, distress, stroke or add or exclude some elements to it. I wonder if that still qualifies as a stolen design if that was the case? I saw so many videos about this but none are clear enough. If someone knows the answer I'd highly appreciate to hear! Thanks.

Great idea! But my first advice is don't overthink it. Most people who buy won't pay attention to the name!

I have a TH-cam channel. I put my dog's picture on a T-shirt and also put the name of my channel on shirt in text on my Etsy store. Is this alright? I have a different email for my TH-cam channel as well. Am I okay with Etsy for promoting my channel like this? or No.
I just checked amazon and they have tons of items with titles that use the phrases glitter/3D/glow in the dark. Can you please clarify?
There are many many sellers not through Amazon Merch so they have different guidelines.

There's aways a reason a shop gets banned from Etsy. They are never 'banned for no reason".
I got banned in 2015 because I forgot to pay $5 🫣
They do ban for no reason sometimes!
This happened to me the first time when I opened my account, I submitted an appeal and they said they couldn’t reactivate my account and I submitted a complaint with the BBB then they contacted me telling me my account was going to be activated again because I DID NOTHING WRONG so I was banned for no reason and I know this happens with a lot of Accounts!

Not true. I created a second shop and I didn’t even post anything and got banned immediately upon creating it.
@@christy81283 Inorobably should have chosen a different word than “never” but I do believe it’s rare. There are a lot of people who claim they get shut down for no reason but it’s really just not understanding their policies. Sorry that happened to you. Hope you were able to get it resolved.
