Great insights. It is not uncommon to see Pau removing her shoes, even mid song. You are correct, these three really bring it! It is impossible to have a flat performance with Pau behind her kit. She is more than dynamic, she is a Titan. Her energy is infectious. She is a special talent. It is amazing to see not only the physical growth, but the maturity in their newest sets. The energy is still there, but all three seem to be more theatrical, more engaging with the crowd. The legend grows, one show at a time. 🤘🏻❤️⚠️
Ah, Survive! Survive has a special place in our hearts in The Warning Army. For many of us it’s the song that made us fall in love with this band. It definitely was for me. The unexpected broadway like beginning with Pau belting out vocals, the incredible drumming complete with shredding a stick, the awesome guitar and bass, finishing in that incredible groove in the outro! So yes, Survive will always hold a special place in my heart and will be considered a The Warning classic years down the road. Nice one Dave!
It was their first video I saw of them, because i was watching TEDx videos. I was instantly blown away and i had to watch it two or three more times to see if what i heard and saw was real. I was instantly hooked. This will be on their first "best of" album one day. How they wrote this at such a young age still blows my mind.

Thanks for this. The Warning Army is here already. This from their second TEDx talk. They performed 3 songs and described making their first album, XXI Century Blood. Their Second album Queen of the Murder Scene is even better and heavier. They just get exponentially better every year. These sisters were just born with the Rock Music gene, and it shows, and it's infectious!!! More Please!!
Thanks for the reaction Dave. All The Warning songs are really good but this song is still my favorite. I love the splitting of the vocals and I think it's just a well written song.
This was the first original song video I saw when I first found them. It was the day I stumbled upon their Enter Sandman cover when they were 14,12 and 9 years old. Pau's energy on the drums just really grabbed me and pulled me into a rabbit hole I have yet to escape. I see some of my friends have already mentioned this, but there was a show around April/May of 2019 where they were between songs, leading into Sinister Smiles. Like survive, it's a duet. It opens with a kick drum, just a simple beat, but it's got some nice double kick fills in the middle of the song. Anyway, leading into the song, Pau decided she wanted to go barefoot, so she started taking off her shoes. They do use a click track, which she had already started. Her shoes weren't off yet when the first kicks started. She just went in with her left foot while she untied and took off her right shoe and sock. Switched feet and took off the other as she was starting to sing her first part of the verse.
I swear she does these things for the challenge. Take off a jacket, put her hair up, take her hair down, take shoes off all while playing. lol

Much easier to hear your comments during the song this time! The Warning always brings it, high energy and emotion and enthusiasm. They are touring Argentina in November, MYC for 2 nights in December, and the Whisky in L.A. for 2 nights in January. Then they will conquer the world.

Good explanation on the difficulty of playing drums in heels. Just to add ,Pau always has to use rented kits when they play outside Monterrey and she sometimes has to use a kit she hates but still gets it done. Their recent show at Cafe Iguana was,I believe,the first time she got to use her own kit.
You should delve deeper and deeper into this band. You will not be disappointed.

Pau (drummer) does take off her shoes as a show goes on in some of their performances, I’m guessing that she prefers the feel with her bare feet.

Yes you should react to that next song that was coming up. It’s their only Spanish song called Narcisista which is a response to some Spanish speaking critics who criticize them for only singing in English.

They don't call Paulina (Pau) "The Shredder" for nothing. Pau's been playing drums since she was 9 yo, at the time of this video she was 14 yo. Pau's is only 4'10" so those heels help.
I have seen her play bare foot. She takes off her shoe and sock in the middle of a song.

Pau voice has a sneering quality in this song.
She gets in character for every performance, a consummate professional!
Look up their last concert of 2020, outdoor. Pau destroys the drum set on Survive. She literally is playing while bearly on her seat; whole body into it. So much energy, it's almost scary.
Love The Warning. Can't wait to see them in NYC in December. I think the next video that came up on your review was Narcisista. You need to do a reaction to that song. It's their latest song. this video is so old for The Warning standards almost 3 years old, if you want to keep listening to them, their songs from the Lunario show are all killer, proper recorded and proper video, next up is P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C
You are correct about this video being old but the quality of the TEDx recordings is great and especially for their song *Unmendable* where Pau does some amazing drumming. No other video of that song catches her drumming better.

When Pau grabs a new stick you see Ale take a quick look behind her when the beat changes a bit lol And Pau does usually have a holder BUT that kit is probably a lender for this show I'd guess. At this point her voice is still developing as im sure you know already since watching other warning vids since this lol Even in this early vid you can see their stage presence.. Ale is starting to unleash her drifting style and you can see the start of Dany's having a blast as she loves performing. great reaction thanks bud
