  • Dear friends
I’m offering my T-shirt designs for sale to help me earn some revenue, hope you’ll give me your fullest support and help me pay for the food I consumed. After featuring Sri Petaling and Happy Garden, the obvious progression is OUG. This township indeed opened my eyes to some hidden gems. Since there are so many good food, I extended the feature to 20 eateries and the duration will be stretched to 20 minutes. Hope you’ll find this episode compelling, meanwhile please go out and support our local streefood, be it in OUG or otherwise. Thanks and see you in the next.
To purchase my T-shirts please visit: bit.ly/elmotees
Or scan the QR code provided in the T-shirt promo sequence

Applause Applause Mr Lee. My father bought one of these shop houses in OUG and I saw them being built in 1969 and we moved in in 1970 ... so it pre dates your "mid 1970's" reference. I have some OUG history to fill you in... We have been living in OUG for more than 50 years!

My taman. Thank you for your recommendation but you missed out quite some of the best in oug (kopitiam) and some of your recommended ones was once good in old times unfortunately but anyway still thanks for your effort. Also your version being served (food) somewhat more luxury than ours ,haha(pork noodles) May be need more of oug locals recommend u the real current good ones next time . However enjoyed the happy garden episode , keep up good work 👍

I grew up in UNITED GARDEN which is next to OUG...so OUG is like my second kampung. Housing areas in OUG are comfortable, the roads are well maintained by DBKL, crime rate is low and above all; OUG's Street Food is easily the best in Old Klang Road. Yes, Happy Garden also has good Street food there and that compliments OUG too cos they are next to each other.

Personal history is history too, Elmo! More commendably you have revealed it candidly (about your "amateurish" or "mediocrity" in tennis). Moving back to a smaller town is always a mixed blessing for me, pros for simplicity of life and lower living cost and cons for missing all those delicacies which can be widely found in larger cities.

Nice..supported the T-shirt, been working in the PST time zone and used to patronise groceries in a shopping mal but now no choice, prices fluctuate like stock, thanks for recommendation to look for local market for groceries and of good food.

Hi Uncle Elmo, have you tried Yung Kee Beef Noodle at Jalan Kancil Pudu? On weekend they sell dry beef noodle, the style is same as the seremban. I also love to eat seremban beef noodle! I will try the OUG too, thanks for your recommendation.

Hi Mr Lee, you missed out 1 more nice food from Restoran Sun Sea. There is a stall (Penang Curry Mee) very nice. You should try it. It's even better than the other curry mee
