Have heard of this place but never had the idea to try it. After watching your video, am encouraged to give it a go. The food looks great. Thanks for sharing this foodcourt to us.
Thank you for sharing this video, Elmo. Like always, it was a great content. I think this video was slightly longer than usual was because you took time to showcase their cooking. Which is good! (and important for some). It's nice to see them preparing the food, what they use and a close-up on their stalls. I think this was what contributed to the length. And I believe it is totally fine. What's the point of rushing through? I must say, I didn't know about this place! I think this place is better than Hutong by the looks of it. Have yet to try. Their price point is definitely better than Hutong. Hutong is way overpriced. To a point that it's not worth it anymore, although the taste are all authentic. Keep up the good work, Elmo. Your videos are always done with great effort since the beginning, well explained, and good background/historical lead-up All the best to you, stay healthy and keep safe! Happy Chinese New Year, Kung Hei Fatt Choy !!! 🧧🧧🧧💰💰💰
Thank you Mr Elmo Lee for this episode! Heading out to KL next week from Sandakan with my family and will try to patronise some of the stalls! Yum! Yum!
Good history on some places in KL and some background on the food court and the business people behind the food court. Didn't know that Ampang Park was started in 1973.
Malaysia Village food court in the middle of KL City. Interesting with all the essential gourmet food available right there for the urbanites. From Penang Prawn noodles, fried hokkien noodle, chicken rice ..... to Rojak and even Chendol with the spread of offerings at Malaysia Village is plentiful. The atmosphere at that place also resembles a usual food-court area and the utensils ( eg plates and bowls) also mimics what a food court would normally use. Great food ...Yatt Lau ! Mou Tak Deng !!! The introduction that Elmo made on the KL Scene in the 70's 80's or maybe 90's adds in a great "feel" especially on night entertainment areas like the Paddock, Tin Mines and memorable discotheque places to swing and sway the night away. Thank you for a great introduction to this Malaysia Village and it would be a great place to satisfy one's craze for Malaysian's food court essential food when one is at that area - having plenty of choice to choose. And lastly - I would say that the new equipment and software used to record, video and editing- the quality is not as good as the previous ones. Again- thanks Elmo for getting this interesting episode posted for us to view.
Thanks Choong if there's anyone who can tell whether I've used a new app to edit my videos is you. You really follow my footages with a fine tooth comb, how I wished all my viewers r like you
Excellent video from the maestro EL . This food court is very clinical . One will be tempted to stay at the Four Seasons Hotel for convenience but I think other food court options may be better 😊
Kuala Lumpur Yong Kee Foodcourt has a variety of Malaysian delicacies. clean and airy. and reasonannle prices. Thanks Elmo Lee for the intro 🙏 🇲🇾 🤝 🇸🇬 👍.
It seems to me it's an upscale food court, must try one day when I visit KL! Totally agree that food prices in many eateries are unreasonably high now, but what to do, we can spend less on other things but not food, sadly. It takes both courage and creativity to name after a food court by using our national laughing stock - "Malaysia boleh"! A black humor ought to be remembered in many years to come! What do you think, our "beloved" Tun M?
I have been there once through our cousin's recommendation. It's really good and the pricing is surprisingly reasonable as it is located in a higher-end location. Didn't know that Singapore's Malaysia Boleh is established by the same person. No wonder there seems to be similar look and feel to them. However taste wise, still KL's is best LOL
Clean and fab food court. Horfun w chicken highky recomm, silkly smooth horfun .. curry laksa the bomb just perfect. Ffried oysters a must saviour evey time here. 😊
Mr Elmo Lee, I 200% support all the video you made about Malaysia history and Malaysia food, if i am going to visit my hometown (K L) ,I am definitely going to eat all the food that you mentioned from your channel , and I am going to invite you to join my food Hopping tour.😊 I like your channel, keep it up!!!BTW I am from Los Angeles California.
When you said Hokkien mee cooked by HOkkien people tastes the best, I can agree whole heartedly. I dont know what it is that they do but they are the best when it comes to high quality HOkkien mee.
Thanks so much for this introduction and recommendation..pass by there but had no idea there is this food court😅..Will definitely try out the dishes there. Keep up the good work!👏👏👏🤗✌️👍👍👍
I totally agree on those kopitiam operators & hawkers on profiteering. Most only selling RM 6 a bowl during pre-COVID around Klang Valley, but it is RM 10 or more now. Mind you these establishment has no aircond & operating on subpar environment. It is really crazy & out of control, especially affecting those B40 & M40 patrons.
A bit complicated where is this place, the concept of this food court is like the putra mall (taken over by sunway group)opposite putra world trade center ,this place u mentioned is it in 4 season hotel opposite GH hospital this new food court i just wonder then ,have never been to this place ?as for food everywhere is selling the same thing but the prc on the highside.
Uncle Elmo, my parents' house is just few mins walk to the Sou Gei ipoh sar hor fun. Ive got few stories happened to me and my friend at his shop. I dont think its because of covid lockdown he shut it down. Its because of his attitude we all stop going
I have been to that food court long time ago... i think way before the new owners took over. Must say the quality was not that good . I hope to have a chance to try it out now .. nowadays hardly go to KL , aweful jam and just too many people. But will see if there's a chance then will try it out
Yes this is the BEST place. Brought many friends here. Very neat and clean and cooked by locals. Mostly those who have operated in smaller towns of different States esp Perak and Penang. A bit expensive but better than most of the rubbish we get outside. Due to location but LRT the best. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
The food looks great to be honest. Its a shame a good concept like this wasn't implemented at a more rental friendly location. This way, more people gets to benefit from "Real Hawkers food" at a "Real Hawkers price".
Thanks for the observation but it wasn’t the microphone, it was the new editing app Capcut that screwed it up. I never had such problems using the old faithful app FCPX
Honestly I feel this episode is not that genuine as it is more like marketing for this food court as I do not feel the food is any interesting. The outside kopitiam food is more authentic. Please do not do this type of marketing for seemingly failing food court. It is not genuine. People or fans can feel it.
You mean the outside food prepared by philipino & indonesian workers? Lol. Try first before you kutuk uncle Elmo. Its all his pocket money to try the food, if its no good he will say its no good
Prefer this....no sweat it out ....nbalso get whiff of stale smelling bodies ...those foreign workers .... sweaty n smelly.....there are those who love these type to go with their food😂😂😂😂😂
Whilst you are entitled to your opinion which you can always freely voice but please don’t tell him not to post and question his genuineness. That’s overstepping the boundary. He can like you too can, put up what he feels and give his opinions on whichever establishments he visits. If you don’t share his views, go do your own videos and post yours.
I live in that building where is located the food court and I eat there everyday, the place is very clean and the food in many stalls is decent and good. The price is s bit expensive because this is klcc area. Otherwise everything is perfect. The best thing is it's not crowded (expect for lunch) , but don't come there so I will have more space for myself 😅
Don't worries, will support you, your hard work
Many thanks
Have heard of this place but never had the idea to try it. After watching your video, am encouraged to give it a go. The food looks great. Thanks for sharing this foodcourt to us.

Thanks much siew kee
i can see all the stall very clean....good job
Thanks for noticing
Yes. It's very clean. I eat there everyday 😊
Looks good and hygienic - will find my way there to Four Seasons. Most hawkers wearing gloves except Rojak man who handles raw ingredients😅
Thank you Mr Elmo Lee for this episode! Heading out to KL next week from Sandakan with my family and will try to patronise some of the stalls! Yum! Yum!
Thanks for the confidence philip
@malaysiafood328 at Malaysia Food Village, just had our KL fried hokkien noodle, Ipoh chicken noodle soup and one chendol 👍🏻
Good history on some places in KL and some background on the food court and the business people behind the food court. Didn't know that Ampang Park was started in 1973.
Thanks for supporting
We need more malaysian food court like this, authentic flavour, clean , well presented and reasonable price. It is time to level up.❤
Good to know a bit of history of the places

Curry noodles very nice.

LOL most of us use Boleh Malaysia as an insult

You r right vendors selling wantan mee at RM10 is definitely daylight robbery
Agree. CKT as well, Boh Liau, still selling same price like other food. CKT should be really cheap considering what they put in it.
As expected Steven since it’s located in four seasons hotel
Uncle Elmo, my parents' house is just few mins walk to the Sou Gei ipoh sar hor fun. Ive got few stories happened to me and my friend at his shop. I dont think its because of covid lockdown he shut it down. Its because of his attitude we all stop going

Inside four seasons hotel
Any sale or service tax?

👍👍👍
Went there when they started the place. Now its a bit different.
Hv not been yet. So what's different? For 👍 or 👎 ?
At where
Four seasons hotel basement
Shredded chicken noodle
Jln Imbi & Chinatown 👍👍👍
😅😊 marketing strategies !
確是,現在吉隆坡的咖啡店內的熟食價錢有的太離譜了!
冇錯食物有起價但係唔係起到咁紧要
Did I hear you say Taiping Turf Club?
It's called perak turf club
Where about is this food court?
At four seasons hotel Ampang
Elmo, keep up the good work
Thanks tang
Elmo you mean all the stall foods are at 12.80?
I didn't mention any price, most of the food prices are listed on each stall front
👍👍
I don't understand why they have to weigh all their noodles?
So that they don't short change the customers I think
MR Chow is not wearing gloves, haiz
Perhaps he wasn't ready when I got him to cook impromptu
Yes the curry moe there is nice.
Thanks Nathan very nice indeed

主持的視頻都很好看,解釋得很仔細,每個視頻我都有看完

The food looks great to be honest. Its a shame a good concept like this wasn't implemented at a more rental friendly location. This way, more people gets to benefit from "Real Hawkers food" at a "Real Hawkers price".

I think your mic use for outdoors needs to be replaced
Thanks for the observation but it wasn’t the microphone, it was the new editing app Capcut that screwed it up. I never had such problems using the old faithful app FCPX
Oh. You need something better than capcut then
Don't you ever get tired of introducing the dishes repeatedly for all this years? wonton noodles or Hokkien fire noodle , get some changes .
There are only so many food items to feature out there but why should we get bored. It’s just like rice but you eat it every day, don’t you
Learn n speaks at least a little Hainanese in your videos.

There’re quite a number of good non halal food courts now. Midvalley. Pavilion has a new one too.
Thanks for telling
Hi Elmo, good day. Oh, I never expected a foodcourt inside the hotel. Thks for the recommendation, will visit this eateries some day. 🫡🫡🙏🙏🙏
