I love this suv. And I love the VR6 engine that’s in it. I think it’s time to add a turbo or supercharger to it, as in NA form, this might be a lot of weight for it to haul around. I hope these lease well and are included in the sign and drive events.
A nice "tweener" in regard to size and driving experience while offering a more sporty design. They need a hybrid version to address the disappointing mpg.
This is probably the best SUV to come out in the past 10 years. Get the 4motion (awd) version as it is going to be worth it. For those that don't know, 4motion is quite similar to Audi's quattro system and is quite the capable snow-beater.
Another great video, always count on you guys for the details. Interested in a Cross Sport for the room and style, sounds like it could use a bit more power and that gas mileage is pretty bad. Glad to hear it feels solid, rides smoothly and is quiet inside. Did you guys see anything about ambient lighting in the SEL Premium?
This car is not even to similarities with the Q8S. I have one the whole Interior is touch screen and way it's more plush! Well worth the 100k price. The Details Matter....
Nice review, guys. What a beautiful SUV. I'm kinda favoring a 2-row vehicle, this looks perfect for what I'm looking for. The mileage isn't a concern, and I understand that if you're not going to tow anything, then the 4 cyl. is just fine. Thoughts?
That V6 needs about 40 more HP and 40 more ft/lb torque at the minimum... there's really nothing differentiating the two engines. It's gorgeous and a really aggressive look I love. Reminds me of the older BMW X5 before BMW gave them estrogen. I want to put some badass 18" truck wheels with off-road tires and wider fender flares on it but nobody makes truck wheels for VW it seems. It's more "car" than truck.
Test drove this car this past weekend and handled great very smooth but there are two major drawbacks that will prevent me from even considering it. First the roof line is way too low when getting into the car, the seat must be put all the way down in order for a 5 foot 10 person to get in without hitting his head and to make things worse Volkswagen did not give the seats easy in easy out activation meaning they do not lower automatically when you turn the car off. So basically you need to adjust the sea every time you get in and out, without re-adjusting the seat, I could not get out of the car and that is also a major safety issue how is this ever passed safety is beyond me. The second issue is with the digital cockpit Display, why they would put eight point type in something you need to see clearly is beyond believe. It is incredibly difficult to read and illumination at maximum is barely readable. Two major flaws makes this a no go for me
VW owns Audi so that's not a half priced Audi but rather Audi's are 2x expensive VW. You should show the Monroney sticker to see where the car is made, probably Mexico wouldn't surprise me.

Looks good, something I might consider upgrading to. I currently drive a 2016 Jetta Sport and this would make a nice upgrade.

Thanks Ken! We didn't see anything about ambient lighting but it might have it. Haven't seen any SEL Premiums built yet
The 2.0T look underpowered on paper, but feels quite acceptable when driving.
