      Thank you so much. I was "TIED", lol. But I'm happy I figured it out. I think the reason it stomped me so much is because I didn't stick with the regular method of taping the paper to the back. My brain was working too hard, lol.

    Hi just a little help i came across with the Dtf hack to make the DTF film to pass through your printer is down to your printer rollers my sublimation printer also loads from the back i discovered by adding a thick piece of card in the back of the printer when it rests against the rollers it engages them so when you load the DTF film it just goes through your printer like normal paper no jams or none printing on the film it works perfectly. So to get thick cardstock just glue 5 or 6 layers of 250gsm A4 card stock together and you have it this saved me so much hassle after a lot of persevering and fiddling with it, because i tried the tape trick but this didn't work for me, but this works perfect every time. best of luck girl x

    Hey Ashley, I'm here again lol! Im just enjoying your videos. I wanna learn more about dtf printing. I am using the same film #Cendale with #Cendale powder. I have another brand which is #Kasyu. I am also using the inkjet printer since im new and still learning everything. #DTF printers are expensve ayayayy!!! I have that experienced many times and wasted a lot of #dtffilms and ink! the #stickypad that was included in the dft film when i bought it works but after a couple of use it doenst work anymore. I have learned and tried using the #painterstape instead. I taped it vertically on the shiny side of the dtf film and Oh my GUACAMOLY it worked like a charm! wooot woot!! It was printing and that's what i was doing since last night lol! I am stil enjoying your vieos coz ive experience this too. I still have tons to learn in dtf printing as well as sublimation using iron on vinyls. Thank you again for doing this realistic video you made. Love the finale dance lol. Godbless!

    • @AustinsLab_
      @AustinsLab_  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much. I did. It didn't really have a problem gripping it to start. It was losing grip after the areas where I put tape. So once I put the paper and tape completely behind the film it was able to keep a continuous grip throughout the print. But thank you girl I was struggling unnecessarily. I've done this method a thousand time with Easysubli so I should have known better.

    I love how it came out i to had to experience it not printing but then I used copy paper and scotch tape as well and it been a success each time , I also know it does last longer if you cure it first before pressing on to shirt I’m not sure if you did that part I love it how it came out love you can also play with the color setting on print setting options before printing , and a second press secures the image to shirt for even better results

    • @AustinsLab_
      @AustinsLab_  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, thank you so much for watching. So, the color settings, I usually adjust the color settings but this day I was so focused on the printing process. I did another one after the video was over. I adjusted the colors, and it looked so much better. Oh, and I also did a second press. I had to cut so much out because the video was too long. But yes, girl thank you so much for sharing your experience. I love hearing about other people's experiences. Honestly, I knew better because I used the same method when printing on EasySubli. Watching other people print directly to the film without using paper is what distracted me, lol.

      @@AustinsLab_ I did and it didnt work yesterday but today it did!! NOW my issue is the thin black lines (roller marks or smears) running down the image. Ugh. I think with the scotch tape the trick is having a small gap from the top of the sheet... so a quarter inch or half an inch of the dtf film exposed then the white paper.
