What a blessing to have studied with Manfredo. A joy playing piano at Roberta's home on Auroara Ave. Mr. Lucky - Having my music played after their tunes on KSJN, L. Kamman jazz show. Both were really kind encouraging us younger cats back in the day. Manfredo always showing my cool improves to folks saying of us young cats. "Yawl sound like Manfredo. lol
This stands up as one of the great Latin jazz fusion albums. Simply jaw dropping range of other worldly instrumentals. Is that Roberta Davis singing and scatting? Whoever, she is totally amazing, her voice effortlessly morphs out of instruments then morphs into them again as if she was born to do that. Spine tingling, sultry and sexy
