The newly inaugurated Atal tunnel that connects Manali to Lahaul as an alternative to Rohtang Pass route has reduced the travel time from Manali to Ladakh by 4-5 hours (46km) and is also the world's longest tunnel (over 10,000 ft).

Thanks for cherish my happy moments.. just get back from atal tunnel on 2 jan 21... Nd stuck in South potral of atal tunnel for around 36 to 40 hours in our scorpio due to heavy snowfall. Thank god of locals for providing maggi nd water bottles ☺️☺️. Big love from ghaziabad to both of you guys😍♥️

10 years for that wonderful tunnel in a difficult terrain.
You know, in Kerala we took 12 years for 0.75 km fly over, 20 years for 3 km fly over, a tunnel less than 1 km is still in halfway after 4 years!!!

for us it was a beautiful experience too however when we went it wasnt snowing much so we could reach further ahead until Sissu Valley Point where all the cars are rallied at 1 point and we could enjoy the view..
obviously, this place is something else and would love to go there again
