I've been trying to upload the code using Arduino IDE, but I keep getting the error message "Found no CH55x USB" during the upload process. I am new to arduino, any tips?
Try to hold the PROG button when inserting the keypad into the USB port. The MCU will then enter FLASH mode for around 5 seconds and you will need to upload the firmware within this window. Otherwise it will show the error you saw earlier.
I wish I could, but from what I see now I can't sell enough of it to run a PCBA routine. So I don't have the type C version of the schematic designed & open source.

Looks very nice the only change I would make is replace the USB with a USB C port
