maybe try using the laura mercier powder instead of the milk makeup powder, and then after baking and setting, use a setting spray to take away the powdery finish. i have super oily skin and that's what works for me!

I want to try this! I have pretty moderate to oily skin so hopefully this will help. The make up doesn’t look bad but you could definitely see what you’re talking about with the pores. But it looks great overall. Love the eye make up! 😍

Once you find the right products that works well together, it's actually pretty good lol And I was a HUGE skeptic myself lol Definitely great during humid days or even an event where you know you may need some extra oil control lol

Applying the foundation after the powder pretty much is changing the consistency of your foundation since the powder will mix with it. That is probably why you noticed your makeup being more cakey. I say, stick to using the powder on top. Also, if you have oily skin and it dries up with the new combination of powder and foundation your face is likely to produce more oil. Anyway, that new eye look you tried looks good.
A lot of the time when I am trying out new methods it's on nights when I'm just staying at home haha just try it and if it doesn't work out then you can take it off right away!
