My son travel to the Philippines a few years ago and he made a stop in Japan and brought me back the most delicious Japanese tea that I've ever tasted, it was the best...from now on I will sip my tea and thank the Japanese people for their hard work every single time.. :)
No, machines harvested everything, included the old leaves, stems,....only hand picks produced the best tea because they only pick the young and healthy leaves which has the most sweetness.
I drink many kinds of tea in many places. but still come back to Vietnamese tea. Vietnamese tea has a stronger taste than tea from other countries. Even Vietnamese coffee is the same. The world famous beverage companies, coming to Vietnam, have not been able to develop.
I love how this video excels at combining the visual and the audio parts: it starts out with classical music, somehow switches to Irish pub music and then, without any transition phase, changes to some kind of Euro-Trance when the machines start wiggling their parts. In some ingenious way of planning (or chance), the music always fits the pictures perfectly. Congrats!
machines harvested tea are garbage, hand picked Tea are the best, only young tender tea leaves can be used for a good quality tea, machines cant do that

It is a dream for a poor country like India. From total destruction during Hiroshima-Nagasaki period, how a very small nation Japan has driven their technological advancement in such a short period. Their determination, sincerity, nationhood, noble and innovative ideas/thoughts, hard works, self respect-------------------everything is manifested in this video. They deserve to be so. No words to say. Speechless..............................................Great Love and Respect from India.
at last youtube brought me here that is something interesting to watch. it reminds me of sebastian brewing tea for ciel and ciel always asking what tea he was preparing.
I miss my Japanese teachers there. Our mom at school, Sensei Yamaguchi. ☺️ I love Japanese people, they are so kind and caring. At school I was not feeling well because it was very cold, Sensei Yamaguchi noticed me that I was not feeling well because I was quite and got a teary eyes. She drove me to 7/11 and bought me a Halloween cupcake with a teddy bear candy on the top of it and also bought me a lukewarm green tea. She drove me back to the apartment and make up my bed with Fotong and told me to take a good and long rest. She left back to the school and I felt sad, but blessed to know Japanese people how good and kind they are. They gave me a little board with flowers with a Japanese word that means "Bond" and I guess my love for Japanese people and their country will never break. See? They deserved it. 🇯🇵🇯🇵💖💖🕊️
I have seen many plantations. After all its a plant and there are bushes and in a row. But this.... the perfection of the rows, the height, the cut, the curvature in the top... leave it to the Japanese to make anything look aesthetic.
Nice vid... Love that specialized farming equipment... No need of high HP tractors and combines I suppose... I was of the impression the tea leaves get their hot water bath when we make the tea to drink... Looks they already got their first bath before getting chopped up... I would really want to taste test tea from a freshly plucked tea leaf out of the plant and try it out... Thanks...
