    The standard tanks are absurdly weak, both in offense and defense, but they managed to be more useful here than usual. Every time I see a fixed defense setup like this, I want to see you run the same startup over again but set all the defenders free, to see how differently it plays out. This one feels like it would make a big, big difference.

    If you would provide zombies with counter ballistic power, you would make battles less predictable more interesting and avoid tedious moments that are best remedied by pressing fast forward.

    Did the nuke get taken out? Also, why didn't you release the Amazon Delivery Death Drones before the WWII soldiers and tanks? Those units had great positioning to hit units running along the blood moat that you set up while the drones could snipe the stragglers.

      The Nuke getting taken out was definitely an eyebrow raiser. Odds are it knocked itself into the water and drowned.

      The nuke was destroyed by the zombies. You can check it out at 40:20 in the video. At that moment, I was spamming the F key to see if the unit was still alive. If it had survived, pressing F would have switched me to the first-person view.
      As for why I didn’t deploy the drones first, it’s because they attack while moving backward. If they’re not positioned in a very controlled environment, they tend to drag out the battle significantly. Additionally, they can move to the map's outer boundary, where melee units can’t reach them, causing a frustrating bug where they continue to attack without taking damage until I manually locate them.
      Lastly, if I had sent out the drones first, they would have likely backed into the WW2 soldiers' line and been destroyed right away.

    (BTW, I only do these if I watch these vids the day they come out)
    Even without the Nuke, which probably drowned from knockback, it was the first line holding out better than it should have that basically allowed the Amazon Drones and Modern Soldiers to clean up effectively.
    If you do a rematch, your best bet is to either remove some first line splash or cut down the amount of Drones at the end, followed by possibly doing something about the 2 superweapons getting their dumb asses' drowned. Or alternatively, you increase the zombie count by 1-2M.

      Thank you for your comment. Every time I read your insights, I’m always impressed because almost every condition you mention aligns with adjustments or key factors I’ve considered when planning the battle. For this particular fight, the main focus was on how long the tanks in the first defense line could hold out. After that, adjusting the number of Stationary Artillery wasn’t something I considered. I was fortunate enough to hit the right number on my first try, and from experience, units with powerful area-of-effect attacks tend to drastically change the outcome even with minor adjustments, making them tricky to balance. Obsessing over them can quickly eat up a whole day!
      The second point, as you mentioned, is the number of drones. I considered adjusting the Attack Drones rather than the Modern Soldiers at the final defense line because the drones have only 100 HP, which makes for visually impressive and flashy effects while also being easily destroyed by the zombies. This helps to create a more dramatic and fast-paced ending. If I had adjusted the number of Modern Soldiers instead, the tempo of the battle’s final stages would likely have slowed down, reducing the tension.

    A fucking nuke 😆 god this game is so cool. The best part is watching the zombie corpses pile up and the oceans of blood forming hahaha it’s so wild.
