Good point.....you have to guard all five Celtics, whether they are using Portzingis or Horford. The 4 ball handlers is another issue for teams that don't have top level perimeter defenders. If we wanna say Derrick Jones Jr and PJ Washington are top level perimeter defenders(not my estimation but both were playing at an elite level since joining The Mavs, so i will give them that credit) we still have to look at Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving as avg to below avg perimeter defenders. Then with The Celtics being a small ball five out offense, this also negates the impacts of the Gafford/Lively duo because they can't just camp out in the paint.... This was a bad matchup for The Mavericks! Like you said, Luka and Kyrie can't hide on defense in this series.....well said!

This teams offense is just too good and defense is just too strong. I frankly don’t believe the 2016 cavs could compete. The warriors would’ve been very interesting though but who is Steph gonna guard, I think the warriors would win but the Celtics definitely would have a great shot w porzingis because who is guarding him😭😭. And when the nets played Celtics we saw jb and jt sweep kd and Kyrie they clamped KD😭. Face it this is a top 10 team all time, even without porzingis for much of the playoffs they are boutta go 16-2 in the playoffs. Think about that without porzingis who is an all star caliber player, elite rim protector, best post up player in the league statistically, and elite floor spacer who is 7’3. They had the highest average point differential of all time this season. I think they had more 20 point leads than 10 point deficits all year. This team is just one of the best teams we’ve ever seen

I see so many people saying the Celts got saved by the refs in game 3. I actually watched the game and am wondering how when the Celtics got more fouls, and a bunch of no calls helped the Mav throughout the game. The no call on Derek White fouling to prevent a 3, gave the Mavs a chance to come back in the game. Too bad they missed a wide open three after a missed call. Calls are bad and good on both sides. Deal with it and just admit they lost...again
