This is my favorite scene from this movie because this is so heartwarming and charming to see Cornelius and Zira 🐵🐵 experiencing what an ordinary human life is like. Also seeing them wearing nice 70s clothes is so cute! ❤️❤️ Their reactions on seeing each other’s new clothes at 0:42 and 1:16 is too adorable!
@@bobanderson6656/ I bet it was nice being able to afford things before our government taxed us to death under the disguise of helping the environment or our health.. ahh good times must be nice being able to buy a house
Cornelius & Zira in 2024 instead. Best or worse case scenarios for them. Cornelius gets his own podcast & Zira I don't know Let's say ends up on The View as a co host.
These are still so much better than the crap movies they have nowadays for these series of films. Seriously they're making him out to be Christ on the cross it's a joke and they can't find an original thought to wipe their ass with.
@@kakashigirl2139 we found some Middle ground there but let's both agree that that Mark Wahlberg spin-off movie was a total piece of s***. But still fun to watch

The only part of the 5-film series that was happy and fun.
The way Zira and Cornelius look at one another… I would hope to have something like that one day.😔
Heh Heh, loved the Bay Area Women's Club scene and how Zira fit right in with the Women's Libbers of the early 1970s. 😂
LOL! But very true!
Was just listening to this score this morning. Love that 70's Goldsmith funk. Glad he teamed up with director Don Taylor again with "Damien: Omen II".
Grape Juice Plus! A Classic!
The scene with Zira taking a bubble bath is so relaxing.
May 21, 1971. My dad would left school for the summer after that day.
I wish I could have seen the 70s, everything looked so much better, and the 80s weren’t too far away!
They had their good and bad points. 80s too. Remember, if you get really sick, you stand a way better chance today.

@@BobBob-ms9gt Yep. Was a lot easier buying a house.
and then reagan reared his head...
Wasn't all peaches and cream but it was a lot better than now. Simpler.
I agree with Cornelius 100% about boxing. It's a disgrace that it's lasted into the 21st century.
Better be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war
Damn, it went fast downhill for Cornelius and Zira from there 🙁
At least they had some "respect" unlike Taylor…
The ultimate irony is that while all of these movies/tv series had "Apes" in the title, it really was all about holding a mirror to humans...

Ha!!! And still wearing that pink velvet jumpsuit.
She could replace Whoopi wouldn’t be able to tell much of a difference😂😂😂😂
And she gets a book deal
Ah there too much of intellectuals for that
Or They Both have a Podcast or Become TH-camrs
Reminds me of a place I was at just a few days ago.
Very interesting seeing these two being treated like this at first compared to Tayler and his friends
Ceaser would be happy for them.
Me souviens je trouvais ça genial
I wish Dr zayas had survived
I had forgotten about this movie. Nowadays I find the premise very corny and the movie kind of campy.
ahh the 70s... no one was confused about their gender
Not true.
Trans people existed in the 70s.
@@etharchildres3976 "mentally ill people existed" yes
Yeah but exceptions were treated as exceptiona @etharchildres3976
Oof
They need to update the film with Cornelious at an LGBTQ+ parade.
Why?
No. Don't need to be woke.
LGBTQ+A
Nope nope nope oh and look more nope
I agree 100%, don’t let them drag you down Roberto De La Vega

In my opinion, the newer series for this franchise is a lot better. I prefer those more than the old even though the originals are quite good.

@@GuerrillaWallFlair I never even watched that one. Didn't look good at all. Rise-Kingdom is wonderful.
