Auch wenn itsMe meint für die paar deutschen Zuschauer würde sich das nicht lohnen. Ich weiß das Du ein herz für jeden Racer hast, und wenn es Deine Zeit erlaubt, wäre es schön das in deutsch zu bekommen, damit es dann ein paar mehr deutsche Racer werden. This is hands down the most fun Ive had since I started playing Assetto Corsa. I have been doing practice laps on the live server with hopes of competing in a race soon.
Really easy to follow guide. Took me a while to figure this out myself a couple of years ago. But as to importing you're settings , you should tell people how to save their current settings before importing yours> not everyone has a killer GPU & CPU. great vid though. ive subscribed.
@CHAMPIONJOE and others. ACTV screws up the FPS on bigger grids like the green hell cup.. other servers and sigle player NP 170 FPS.. on the green hell server a freaking slideshow! After 2 days i almost gave up when the CEO from LFM told me in Discord to try disabling the ACTV tool and after doing that I instantly had 140fps 😮

World Sim Series had more mature AC approach with content syncing app (cars, tracks, custom liveries, like iRacing plus Trading Paints) more over a year ago, and LFM has download links and crappy GUI (ok it's beta but still). WSS is a great platform with great driving standards, and for our community that's the place to be. I must say I am quite disappointed in your answer, community should choose for themselves, and youtubers like you should give them information to make informed decisions. This kind of answer smells like a lobby.

Hi i am still having issues loading into LFM servers i have downloaded real penalty and all the required mods but I get instantly kicked after joining.
One thing that I can not find anywhere is how to get an LFM licence for Assetto Corsa, I can find infor for ACC but not AC, please let me know how thanks.

I can’t sign up for any races. The sign up button is greyed out and says not enough SR. But I can join practice servers. The races in question state that the minimum required license is Rookie. I should be able to join. Am I missing something ?

Kannst Du mir sagen welche Mod das ist? Und kann man die Overlays in der Größe skalieren und die einzelnen Elements verschieben? Ich zocke in VR und die Standard-HUD-Obverfläche ist bei der hohen Auflösung recht winzig.
Moin Björn! Die Mod nennt nicht ACTV Competizione. Verlinke ich dir! Verschieben kann man generell alle HUD Elemente immer. Einfach mit der Maus an die gewünschte Stelle ziehen! Die größe ist etwas tricky. Bei manchen Apps kann man im Content Manager unter "Settings -> Assetto Corsa -> Python App Settings" Einstellungen vornehmen. Tried to enter a race but the option to join is greyed out with a message about SR, safety rating presumably. Does LFM use the the same SR for Assetto Corsa AND Assetto Corsa Competzionie? If not how do I enter a race? Practice sessions work OK. Thanks - Jef
They were rookie races - just show a grayed out button. Never raced LFM for AC before. Still show SR at 2.50. From what I can tell there is no LFM entry drive to get a licence as there is in ACC?

I tried to connect to one of their server, the Leon Cupra TCR and can't join, I receive an error in the bottom left corner of Assetto Corsa loading screen; Error: can't compare checksum. Then another window stating: Failed to connect: handshake failed. I have all the mods installed and activated, CSP 0.2.0. For some reason I'm able to join other servers, not this one from LowFuelMotorsport. Could anyone help me please? Thank you in advance!

Seems like something is missing with sol. You should reinstall it and see if that fixes it. Also make sure to select a weather preset and set weather fc in the CSP
hello sir! Thanks alot for the guide... i want to drive on LFM aswell.. im totaly new and i just bought Assetto Corsa Competizione on steam... my question is; Do i need to have the normaly game Assetto corsa for playing LFM aswell, os is competizione enough ?
The two are totally different games and both supported by LFM. So having ACC is enough to start with. But this video, this guide is for AC1 the older game of the two.
Is there any method to get LFM browser loaded into the "Live" services similar to how one would use SRS, RaceU, Grid Finder, etc? I tried the "Add Service" option and entered the LFM URL, it prompts me to then assign a name to it, but nothing happens afterward. Would be nice to have LRM integrated into CM, I use VR and my main setup has 2 monitors on my desk, and a 3rd monitor in front of my rig mirroring the monitor on my desk that has CM and Discord, but my browser is often open on the primary monitor which is not mirrored.
I can't get my Logitech G29 to work on AC for some reason, tried configuring it in game and on Content Manager, and nothing works, anyone know how to fix this?
That way LFM has you Steam ID and can reservate you a gridslot when hosting a server. And its an easy way to create an account without having to type in everything :)
How can I choose the livery? When I join the session, it loads a preset livery, not the livery I selected before on "Drive" tab... Is that like iRacing, or is there something I'm missing to choose the livery?

Ja, wenn man ihn sich for free holt, bekommt man die Lite Version. Die ist mehr als ausreichend für alle wichtigen Features. Ansonsten kann man sich einen Key für die Vollversion holen für einen Euro. Aber ganz ehrlich: Braucht man nicht wirklich.

I don't have an option for "Python Apps" in Content Manager under Settings>Assetto Corsa> in concern to the Real Penalty add-in. Do I need to do anything?
NVM, I restarted Content Manger and saw the option. My screen looks much different because Real Penalty was the only checkbox available since I just downloaded the game today lol

But I am not aible to join lfm server because of real penalty app. I recognized that also other trying to join but have the same issue. I followed this guide but it says "rp: app not activated" but it is activated as told in the guide in ac content manager.

Dir fehlen keine Apps. Ich hab nur so unfassbar viele. Schau am besten Mal bei Racedepartement rein welche Apps dich ansprechen. Die haben einen Download Bereich im Forum

Usually you dont have to. But if you must, just go to your setup screen, set up a pitstop and then drive into the pits in a race sessions. Place the car in the highlighted red zone and come to a stand. It should then do the pit stop
And all this "you need this, you need that" Stuff and this big amount of settings in the Shader patch are the reason why i never ever again install AC. Way to complicated for me (Yes i know i only have to do it once, sucks anyways)

I had the same problem. What solved it was to deleting all the contents of the cache folder inside the game folder.

Bei ACC musst du einen Rookie Lizenz Test machen. Bei AC solltest du dich einfach so einschreiben können.

As I said, its sometimes hard to spot. Just search your screen and when your cursor is changing you have something to drag.

How can I choose the livery? When I join the session, it loads a preset livery, not the livery I selected before on "Drive" tab... Is that like iRacing, or is there something I'm missing to choose the livery?

I have a problem, when i join a session i have been voted to be kicked from the session without doing anything wrong, whats the solution to this problem?
Usually that a sign of either content missing or you not having the real penalty app activated.
Or the third option, the server is unresponsive

Ja, wenn man ihn sich for free holt, bekommt man die Lite Version. Die ist mehr als ausreichend für alle wichtigen Features. Ansonsten kann man sich einen Key für die Vollversion holen für einen Euro. Aber ganz ehrlich: Braucht man nicht wirklich.

I don't have an option for "Python Apps" in Content Manager under Settings>Assetto Corsa> in concern to the Real Penalty add-in. Do I need to do anything?
NVM, I restarted Content Manger and saw the option. My screen looks much different because Real Penalty was the only checkbox available since I just downloaded the game today lol

It's always random at AC sadly.
I understand that they use Sol which is free, that's fine for me,but i have Pure 0.222.Is it advised to put also Sol for multiplayer

Wie komme ich mit einem Anfangswert von 2.5 im SR überhaupt auf einen höheren Wert? Am Rennen darf man mit 2.5 ja scheinbar noch nicht teilnehmen um den zu steigern. Geht das nur über die Lizenz welche man über ACC macht?
Die Frage hat sich erledigt. Ich habe jetzt doch noch andere Events gefunden, wo ich Zugang bekomme.

Thx for this guide - also fine that it is in englisch. Not sure if this here is the right place. But I am not aible to join lfm server because of real penalty app. I recognized that also other trying to join but have the same issue. I followed this guide but it says "rp: app not activated" but it is activated as told in the guide in ac content manager.
Same here, installing and reinstalling and nothing "your have been voted to....."

ich hab den Content Manager und Co installiert, aber vor Ewigkeiten schon. Mir fehlen bei Pyrhon Apps ultra viele Apps. Kann mir jmd sagen, wie ich die Apps auf den neusten Stand bringen kann?
Dir fehlen keine Apps. Ich hab nur so unfassbar viele. Schau am besten Mal bei Racedepartement rein welche Apps dich ansprechen. Die haben einen Download Bereich im Forum

how do you pit stop??
Usually you dont have to. But if you must, just go to your setup screen, set up a pitstop and then drive into the pits in a race sessions. Place the car in the highlighted red zone and come to a stand. It should then do the pit stop
And all this "you need this, you need that" Stuff and this big amount of settings in the Shader patch are the reason why i never ever again install AC. Way to complicated for me (Yes i know i only have to do it once, sucks anyways)
And that's okay. I can only tell you that the effort is worth it!
