Great tour ! I recommend Dom Sigalas desk. I saw a video on it and it looks very cool. PS : If your wife starts asking questions, tell her it is a gift from Santa Clause ;)
Wow, I went searching through your videos to see if you had one about your gear and you just released it! I had the exact same desk as you : Ikea modified with sit/stand! Just switched to a StudioDesk... Great video, thanks. I'm going to try the trackball!
Wow! Merci infiniment, Chris! Tellement ouvert et franc de tout nous montrer ça. Très encourageant! ;-) -------------------------------------------- Wow! Thank you so much, Chris! So open and honest to show us all this. Very encouraging! ;-)
Hi Chris!! Amazing room and studio! I have a question about arc 4. How's the latency while tracking and playing vst instruments? Is it playable? I've read about it in some posts and still have not made up my mind about this issue. Thanks!!!
You are as always on top. The best person on TH-cam who knows everything about Cubase. I love your headphone collection, and also thanks for the video.🤝
Hey man! Good stuff! On my side I got the secretlab xl standing desk and I love it's cable hiding feature. I also use the pc holder under it, and added racks in them instead of a PC. So my stuff is under the desk, cable manage quite cleanly, and it all lifts or lowers automatically with the desk without cable hanging. Tu checkeras ça! : P Good job pour les videos, merci pour l'aide!!!
Glad you like my setup! Yes, I can use my DAW without outboard gear, but this gear gives me better tone when recording than recording straight in, so a bit less work to do while mixing. There's not right or wrong answer when it comes to this, it's a personal choice. I believe that gear or fancy plugins are good tools but are worth nothing if you don't know how to use them to make them sound good. And they will not make a bad song sound good either ;-)
@@mixdownonline Appreciate you taking time to answer my question. I am thinking of going down this route myself so it was good to get your perspective 👍
Fascinating to see how things change. Just one question. You've switched from the Presonus Faderport to the Softube Fader mk3. I saw your vid on this (and Dom's) and it looks very exciting for the integration with Cubase. I could see this complimenting my CC121 if I ditched my current Mackie based Icon Qcon setup. But you hinted at some potential shortfalls. Care to elaborate?
Just started the video. Hope I see a Lava Lamp...else it's just not gonna cut it. Part Two, where your wife smacks you silly after the video for saying it's great she can't talk when shooting the vid. Can't wait. Oh, by the way. Loved your tour. Right to the point, no wasted time. Covered all bases. As "they" said, back in the (my) day...Right On!
Question: Besides being a fader controller, do you think the Console 1 fader brings new functionality to the Console 1 system? Can this C1 Fader bring more and better things/features to Console 1 MKII, than for example an avid Artist Control? I am asking as I own the Console 1 MKIII...and use Pro Tools
Beautiful studio, thanks for the tour and all the videos
Wow, Fantastic Video Chris and great Setup, mainly the Coffee mug WARMER!! A Must have for all Studio Owners!
Definately a must! Lol!
Great tour! I can relate as my wife points to my little studio and tells our kids that their inheritance is in that room. 😆
LOL! That is awesome!
😂😂😂😂
Office chairs with mesh are great! Much less sweating and much more comfort.
So happy for you. It all looks beautiful!
Thank you!
Love your setup, Chris!
Thanks, glad you like it :-)

Lol! I'll tell her it's a gift from Dom and I'll send him the bill ;-)
@@mixdownonline Hey ! If you play like that with Dom, he will make you Dom Re Mi Fa Sol La Si !

Maybe this is my next chair🤔. It seems to be great!
Nice setup Chris, how important do you think the outboard gear is? Basically could you use your DAW without them?
Glad you like my setup!
