  • V1.15/1.151 Run with Sevastopol Only.
    Rules:
    Only starting ships allowed are 1 Sevastopol, and a minimalist ship to carry 2x R3N missiles into the campaign.
    Any obtained ships are disposed of ASAP. Given that ships can only be obtained midgame while in cities, simply selling them is the usual path to disposal. As the parts would be added to the inventory of the city, any parts may be kept.
    Sevastopol may only be 'minimally' edited, IE: No Armour / Hull editing. Her armour and hull scheme MUST remain as standard, however given that the Sevastopol is canonically an incomplete ship, the readjusting of internal parts as well as adding / removal of modules / sensors / guns is allowed. Further rules in that regard: No mounting blocked strategic missiles.
    I Don't plan on any major edits to her engine or gun scheme, simply adjustment and addition to her 57mm gun battery and a single D30 addition to cope with weight. I may turn to engine spam for post-khiva.
    I suppose it counts as a Let's Play / Letsplay?

    Those return to sender sprints from the first R3 really did more damage than nukes usually do.
    I swear the APS and sprint “shotgun blast” when they go off does damn near infinite damage. Almost Every time I see a ship get caught in one, it gets torn in half, it’s great.

    It was pretty rocky at the start and after the ammo detonation but the seva still push through it all

    I think Sevastopol was the first ship KK designed lol, at least the first heavy cruiser. Nomad and Varyag not only don't have the ridiculous flaws like exposed ammo on the bottom etc. but also look much better. Alternatively he made it shit on purpose to incentivise upgrading it.

      Considering that ship is "unfinished" and with the shipworks existence - I assume it was meant to be a playground for every player to improve on the design in the way they see fit.

      I think intrepid might be. KK has said it’s his favorite and intrepid was shown in a very old box2d damage model demo in extremely early dev

    I would love to see a single ship playthrough where you design whatever ship you want, to any crazy size or standard.

      I'm not a fan of absolutes, saying anything is impossible would be a lie, but if you don't save scum, it's *Extremely* unlikely to be possible. You'd have to refit the seva with a lot of engines then blindly pick the 2 cities the Typhoons are going to and engage them in tac first
      If you mean in a vanilla style run, then its not even terribly hard tbh. just dont use nukes over cities and don't let the enemy nuke you in cities

    Ay bro will you willing to try my design and try to win a campaign with it. Ofc i really recommend you to use rebalance mod since it will be too easy without it. I mean who dont like dealing with plane or missile every 5 minute?

      Probably not. I’m not really someone who thinks letsplays/ full runs are something I want to get into mainly, and the algorithm doesn’t like them either.
      I might do ship reviews in general however.
