What is the red juice he added?
I love this palm fruit. My native is Andhra and we all it Thati Kaya. Used to go to my village every summer and this is one fond memory.
Never made sharbath/juice, we used to scoop it with our thumb finger and eat if directly from the fruit itself.
After eating in the field we used to get few fruits and nungu (the jelly) back to home.
And best is the vehicle we used to make out of those used fruit shells and drive around all the day and days.

Red liquid added at the end is kind of like Rooh Afza, locally called Nannari Sharbat (concentrate) in Tamil Nadu. Just Nannari (Sugandhi in Telugu?) is a natural aromatic root and is supposed to be good, but Nannari Sharbat concentrate is not good. Just like Rooh Afza, It is full of sugar and NOT healthy.
