I remember my Mom making peanut butter "fudge" as we called it. Same recipe. It was such an amazing treat. Only had it a few times in my life. But, I remember it well. I am also a diabetic now, and my sugar runs on the high side, so I don't eat sweets as often as I'd like. But if I were to make something to satisfy that sweet tooth, nothing compares to peanut butter candy. And, your scripture lesson brought a smile. All of my parent and grandparents were Christian, and know this scripture well. Now that I am an adult, I am always amazed how much reading the scripture each day brings a sense of peace, direction, and foundation to my day. I wish more felt compelled to read the Bible daily. God Bless!
My husband was from Kentucky. He passed 4 yrs ago last June. He made "potato candy" It had potato and peanut butter, and you made it look like a roll at the end. Do you have a recipe for that? I am going to order your recipe books if available also. I love this channel. I get in touch with my southern side. I was born in Louisiana, raised in California a couple years, then Chicago until I was 16. I now live in Indiana but can walk to Chicago I am still so close. You are going to be so happy you did this. What an amazing privelege to have your grandmas recipes, her time, her advice, and grandpas as well. Thank you for sharing all this..recipes, fun stuff, church and bible study, it is just such an amazing channel!!!!¡❤🎉
1box of confectionary sugar in a bowl, 1 small warm baked potato added to the bowl. Mix thoroughly. It will be like play dough. Sprinkle a surface with confectionary sugar and put dough on top. Roll into a rectangle shape. Coat the top with a thin layer of peanut butter. Roll up from one long end to other. Slice using dental floss and store in the fridge.
My dad’s side of the family was from West Virginia. I grew up with my dad making us “peanut butter candy”. It’s almost just like this! I’m going to try it this way for sure :)

My husband has been as low as 37. He laughed at me because I started to panic. The only thing I had was sugar. He uses sweetener in his coffee, but not that morning! I put 3 heaping spoons of sugar in his cup of coffee and stood over him as he drank it. He doesn't feel funny, or faint when his runs low. It's only in the early morning.
Thanks so much for sharing. Does anyone have a recipe for chocolate fudge with walnuts and that jar of marshmallow stuff? My grandma used that to make it for my brother, and since she passed away, I don't have that recipe..
