Maybe Ariana did not suspect an affair because she was trying to figure out the sudden muscling up, letting his face and style go (midlife crisis)? Not to mention the drastic mood swings and violent outbursts. Maybe she was genuinely concerned about something entirely different. All of those things, combined with the deaths in her family, and her frail state of mind, would lead up to no intimacy. An affair with her best friend, in her house, would be furthest from her mind.
It brought back all the rage and it’s so triggering for me because of things in my past. I think a lot of people feel that and can relate so deeply to Ariana.

Watch her body language, when she lies, lies to Lisa, lies to everyone else. She doesn’t even think about it. It comes naturally and feels right for her. That kind of energy and darkness is the one to stay away from.

Because of Rachel Katie and Schwartz aren't friends anymore. Because of her it almost affected Ariana and Katie's relationship and business. Tom and Tom were James best friend and invited him everywhere and he winds up getting slapped in the face by his ex Rachel inviting him to the pool party. You've got Sheena having to embarrassingly ask your husband if Rachel ever made a pass at him. Not to mention it affecting his business partners. He put his very best friend in a bad spot keeping his secret which has caused the fall out with him and the other cast members. Yeah for people who keep downplaying this like it's just Tom cheated on his girlfriend with her friend it is a hell of a lot more than that it affected everybody's relationships. let's not forget the latest episode where Katie was totally embarrassed by Tom in front of the new guy she's hanging around. He didn't care how it affected his girlfriend he didn't care how it affected his best friend he didn't care if it affected his business partner and he didn't care about anyone.
I 💯guarantee if Sandoval was at Arianas sandwich shop opening & Rachels dog died Sandoval would leave to be with Rachel as a “good friend”.
