Very interesting, that Joe Jonas did it with Ryan Tedder. I was wondering if this came out of the Jonas Brothers sessions and it did. It is a song they did not use and instead he had DNCE use it. Great song for them and a lot of fun to dance to. It is nice to see Jack Lawless and Jin Joo Lee finally come to the forefront and perform in the band as true members of it. Their whole careers they both have been "backup" players for others like the Jonas Brothers, Jo-Jo, and plenty of other musicians. In other words, session players. Now they get to lead and perform with Joe as band mates - it is such a wonderful opportunity for the both of them.

I hope DNCE adds in a fourth member like a bass player or organ player to the group. I like the funky sound of your music! It is bad like that!

@@kilianfive2315 Rumor has it he was tired of waiting around for Joe Jonas to come back so he did a solo album - but as you are probably aware, it really did not get any traction with any sales at all.

@@kilianfive2315 In NYC at the Today show when they first came out with Cake by the Ocean. I always liked Jin Joo Lee on the guitar as she has performed with many people like Jo-Jo and the Jonas Brothers as has Jack Lawless - so I wanted to see them now front and center in a band. It was great to see these former backup performers take the front line in a band.
