Fabulous performance. I play this also on free bass piano accordion but not at this level of musicianship ;-) A side note.... Gershwin supposedly said that a performance on an accordion he heard years ago was the only other instrument besides piano that it could be played well on correctly.
Bravo! This is magnificent! I’ve watched an earlier rendition of this by him in 2014 and this is MUCH BETTER! The phrasing isn’t rushed and mumbled. This is thoughtfully performed. However the audio engineer didn’t set the mic level properly so the recording is clipped during the louder segments.
14:08 Thank you for coming, ladies and gentleman. Even though this was the first song of the night, I will be taking a two hour intermission. Thank you for your understanding.
Apporopriate that "Rhapsody in Blue" should be presented in this manner by a Russian artist - since the Gershwin (Gershevitz) family was from St. Petersburg. So many U.S. songwriters of that era had roots in Russia (Vernon Duke, Irving Berlin and Lew Brown, to name a few) , I've often said that Russia's greatest gift to America was the "Great American Songbook"
Simplemente genial. Un abrazo al talentoso Yuri.
Absolutely amazing. He really does every inflection like they do in the original cover. The bend at 00:17 is crazy
You captured all the various aspects of this beautiful rhapsody in blue and put it all at our disposal. Thank you. Wonderful artist.❤
Magnificent performance by a magnificent accordionist. Superb! Love the bass also.

Good interpretation great artist. ❤
Absolutely great virtuoso on the accordion ❤
That audience does not deserve that man's performance. Hardly a smile or nod of enjoyment from the crowd.
They were probably just speechless, I would be too
@SorenzoAzhathot you do not need to say a word to give a standing ovation, nod or smile
