Yes!
In a way, yes. It's similar to soldering in that you add filler to your base material with your off hand. Personally Tig is my favorite welding technology simply because of it's wide range of capabilities. A TIG welder can weld most materials at a wide range of thicknesses with good penetration.

meh, it's 2018, youtube doesn't pay the bills even fir a guy like him. Thats why the videos have gotten shorter, and the content far and few between, and running to youtube red asking the overlords for some spare change. There's really no incentive for him to make content anymore, and sure over time he'll get more subs since subs really don't go away, but it's all about the views. Unless there's a sponsorship with intel or ford, don't expect a whole lot - even then it's only 3 6-8 minute videos worth at best. When passion meets entertainment, you tend to lose passion if the medium you work on blows. I'm not saying I blame him.

33% pressure. Imagine 90% with a longer barrel, shooting frozen lemons. Trust me I’ve got a PVC one and the frozen lemon went though a metal street sign, you just need the perfect sized lemon.

Nice project! Also make a longer barrel, the projectile needs a runway to get to full speed. And you can put gasoline on top of the projectile too, mwhahaha

Zach Faulkner . People have made these types of things before.
And the slingshot channel is great, but Colin is very skilled and he's a natural at almost everything he does. He has an incredible amount of creativity and he also has the knowledge and inherent skills to make that into a reality... the way he imagines it.
Jeorg Sprave is great and so it Colin Furze, they can't be compared to each because they're both unique.
Colin deserves full credit for his work and Sprave deserves credit on his channel.
Those 2 channels are my favorites to watch.
So thank you Colin for putting in the effort and inspiring people. Sometimes changing someone's life or giving them inspiration is worth more than any monetary sum.
You don't take money or possessions to the grave, but you keep your experiences and your impact you left on the world.
And I think Colin has done an exemplary job. 😊
Zach Faulkner it is not near a exact copy... It is something completely different and even if it were a copy, i think Jörg would just love that someone else is creating super fun content and a super cool shooting machine.

Jörg ist Shooting high pressure arrows over the barrel. Whole different story. But yeah, what's wrong with a little inspiration?
Anyway my initial comment shouldn't disrespect Colins mastermind. He is creating fun and cool inventions just as Jörg ist too. They are my favorite two youtubers and it is cool to see that they made something vaguely similar.

Same, I wanted to build one, googled my firearm laws and a potato cannon is classed as a lethal firearm. Which I suppose is true, but I can buy a crossbow without a licence in the UK...

Our laws are so inconsistent, potato cannons are illegal but broad head bolts on a crossbow are fine? Yet hunting with a crossbow is illegal? It needs sorting out so it makes more sense.
