As a lifelong resident of Poole (60+ years), the great and the good former inhabitants seem so familiar, with nearly all of them having Streets bearing their names. This has to be the best History of Poole video I've seen. Well done to all involved.
Very interesting history of Poole. I am ashamed to say I had very little knowledge of its rich history and I will appreciate it all the more when I next visit as I do most weekends living very close.

poole power station was demolished from february 1993 to august 1994 so this will be mid to late 1990s
