I'm 3 weeks from op. You make it look so easy. My knee is so stiff I struggle to do many of these exercises. But still trying to do them

Every little bit helps! After surgery some of these will be difficulty, too, but as you heal and improve your mobility and strength they will get easier and easier. Best wishes with your upcoming surgery.

You have quite a few exercises that at home PT didn't have. Thanks.

Good morning Luke, First, thank you for replying to a question I had on another of your videos. Piggybacking on that question... Would doing these exercises pre-surgery be beneficial? There are a lot of good strengthening exercises not only for the knee, quads, calves, and ankles...but also for the hips. I often forget about the hips and their importance to the knees. Thank you for these informative videos. I am watching as many as I can, and they are helping me to better understand how important movement and motion are to the healing process.

Yes! Absolutely all of these exercises are good to perform prior to surgery and it will set you up well to be successful with your recovery after surgery. Plus, you'll already know a lot of exercises that will be part of your rehab plan. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for those exercises. I have a bakers cyst on the operated knee which interferes with some of those exercises. My surgeon said it would go away! I’m 4 months post op! I’ve had the cyst for 3.5 years! Any suggestions on how to get rid of the cyst? ❤

There really is nothing to do unfortunately except continue to give it time. With these exercises and if you keep moving hopefully overall your knee will feel better and you hopefully will not notice the symptoms from the cyst as much.
