The jazzy flow of this song reminds me of another favorite band, Canterbury psych proggers Syd Arthur. White Denim are one of my top 10 fave US bands, was sorry to see James leave Austin just as I arrived, as I hoped to see them more often. Looking forward to Sagebrush and the new album, 12, on Dec 6!

I'm sure he'll do a handful of dates with the band this year but it is unlikely that he'll do any runs longer than a few days moving forward. I bet if a song becomes a viral digital online smash hit and touring with our families is suddenly a feasible possibility he'd cruise again:) Don't hold your breath though-Any middle aged musician that isn't playing arenas or looking for a way out in these times is at least a little mad.
