This plays after you die, then you're born again. Then you die, this plays, then you are born, again. Die, this plays, birth, death, more music. Again. And Again, and again, and again.
Wow, this song never leaves you. I last watched this video in 2012 and then today I randomly thought about it and had to return to this video. This is a powerful song.
Maybe if 2 african swallows caried it together. Yes, but then they should be flying perfectly synchronised. Yes, but that could be possilble, couldn't it? HEY, CAN YOUR MASTER JOIN US ON OUR ALLIANCE OF THE ROUND TABLE!!!? WE ARE IN AVQUEDT FIR THE HOLY GRAIL!! Neh, we already got one *wispers to friends*: I told him we already got one!! *laughes*
I want to make this the *beep* on my voicemail (and you have to listen to the whole thing). It's the perfect way to guarantee I only get messages that are actually important (not to mention that if you leave voice messages instead of text for little things then you deserve to suffer).
+Nathan LA (SchobbishBot3000) Mainly a reaction of....what dafuq??. But I met someone who was a Monty Python fan. And we insisted to each other that we shouldn't get picked to be an actual juror because we'd probably shout BURN THE WITCH in the courtroom. XD
Me and some mates went to see this at a screening a few years ago. We knew when the interval was coming, so we dashed out of the auditorium, then came straight back in again eating chocolates just as the film restarted.
I've never heard a song that has made me want to listen to it, and blow my brains out at the same exact time. Then again, when you have a friend that plays this for thirty minutes at a time because he loves how its "never endingness" you can feel like that.
Makes me think of all the intersmissions on old 50s and 60s epic movies...but none have ever made me laugh hysterically than the best intermission of all time.....Thank You Pythons.
@EverardXavier That's due do the "PAL Speed-Up". Movies in Theatres run at 24 frames a second, while DVDs in the PAL regions need 50 frames, so they create in-between frames, but that only makes up for 48 frames, so the dvd is sped up slightly. This is also why PAL DVDs run approximately 5 min on 90 minutes shorter than the theatrical version
Let me answer this. The original movie contains 24 frames per second which has to be converted to PAL (25fps) or NTSC (30fps) for television broadcast and DVD as they use these systems. The result of the conversion is what many of us can hear: it is slightly faster. You can clearly hear the difference when you listen to the original soundtrack CD of a film after watching it on TV or DVD.
I have this as my cellphones ring tone and during school I never put it on vibrate and make somebody call my cellphone during class, which really freaks out the teachers
when i watched the holy grail for the first time, and this came up after they were all arrested, i was just staring into space, thought it kinda suited it.
I love that this joke gets better as time goes on. when the first movie came out, this type of music probably still existed. Either that or it was very recent. It was humorous for the randomness of the intermission. Now, if you heard it for the first time, it would be funny because of the type of music. Only Monty python can create jokes that get better with age. (just so you know, I wasn't actually alive when the movie came out, so I could be wrong)
I remember when I watched this with my friends a few years ago, we kept listening and waiting to see when the song would stop playing and everytime it looped we laughed like hell. It all seemed so incredibly ridiculous and comical for some reason, it NEVER stopped. =P
This is the default theme in my head at all times..
No joke, I want this played at my funeral.
Hey there magma
magmablock I can just see a fucking huge screen that says intermission as this plays at your Funeral
magmablock this is a SUPER LATE response but I had this played at my granddads funeral and the priest even chucked a bit.
The ad for Woolworths or the song?
I was just thinking that!
This plays after you die, then you're born again. Then you die, this plays, then you are born, again. Die, this plays, birth, death, more music. Again. And Again, and again, and again.
That was the most simplistic, yet emotionally riveting comment I have encountered in my lifetime.
The ride never ends.
oh shit
so we make same fucking mistakes again and again
Diavolo is that you?
I sure hope you’re right. This comment is 7 years down the road, maybe you’re already hearing the music, lol
I was at a funeral the other day with this song stuck in my head. Good times!
+Ruby-Lou I'm going to have this played at my funeral.
Indi Heaton I'm afraid I'll just have to be there, then!
+Indi Heaton it will be a fun-eral.
+Ziggmanster dad jokes
Mo Lt yep.
I had this playing in my head as I waited in a cinema screen last December for The Force Awakens to start
Such a great movie.
Just sitting here... waiting... wondering... pondering... when my organ arrives so I can play this.

They should just have this video playing on the valve website forever.
Maybe after 9 nears of development...
Toasty Engineer Hopefully, this music will have made it worth the wait.
Google should just play this whenever you look up "portal 3"
I want to make this the *beep* on my voicemail (and you have to listen to the whole thing). It's the perfect way to guarantee I only get messages that are actually important (not to mention that if you leave voice messages instead of text for little things then you deserve to suffer).
Best music for credits ever
God bless you, Vinny.
The song that AT&T plays when ur on hold for 20 hours

I had jury duty and played this in the assembly room.
What were the reactions?
+Nathan LA (SchobbishBot3000) Mainly a reaction of....what dafuq??. But I met someone who was a Monty Python fan. And we insisted to each other that we shouldn't get picked to be an actual juror because we'd probably shout BURN THE WITCH in the courtroom. XD
Beautiful! And now we want, please, the two "Stop the film" themes
Me and some mates went to see this at a screening a few years ago.
We knew when the interval was coming, so we dashed out of the auditorium, then came straight back in again eating chocolates just as the film restarted.
This is the music I want played at my funeral XD
This music was also played at the end of the movie. When the police put the hand on the camera and the screen turned black, this music played.
just randomly had this song pop in my head
I thought this was default intermission music for everything. Ty Monty Python, cause it should be!
I've never heard a song that has made me want to listen to it, and blow my brains out at the same exact time. Then again, when you have a friend that plays this for thirty minutes at a time because he loves how its "never endingness" you can feel like that.
The standard theme to whenever an error message shows up in a TV show. That's how I picture it.
I could just imagine somebody having a horrific accident or something to this. The contrast underlines the hilarity.
my anus
is bleeding

My friends and I watched this movie today. We ended up dancing to this music. :D
The best ending music ever. Melancholic but whimsical and sarcastic.
I've just had this idea... This song gotta wake me up almost every morning :D
When I get a phone, this will be my ringtone. Alongside the Peanuts and random star wars music yet again alongside other piano music.
I love this short intermission ^^
i love the piano solo at the end
The tune! I can't get it out of my mind!
Awesome!
Knights of the round table do their best now and are preparing for their quest.
Please watch warmly until it's ready.

It would be epic to listen to this music when you wait someone on the phone.

The music is just so goofy that it makes you laugh every time you hear it.

when i watched the holy grail for the first time, and this came up after they were all arrested, i was just staring into space, thought it kinda suited it.
I can't believe I found this. The things you can get off youtube these days.
i love this movie

When I make it to the mlb as a closer this will be my warmup music
I wish I had a loop version, I'd listen to it while I'd play video games :D
There will now be a whopping big intermission, during which small ice creams in big boxes will be sold.
I always move my head side to side unconsciously with the music when i hear it :3
listening to this while doing homework. . .
Me too! Talk about the ultimate intermission.
Love it
I remember the time me and my brother danced to this while waiting for an Xbox thing to download.
This is the song that plays while I download a new operating system!
They redid it and this is now the start of the kids show Larva.
I need this as my ringtone
This is perfect music for waiting for Finn to patch things up with Flame Princess.
best song ever.
Yes they do.
..so...addictive.... fits so well in the Holy Grail! Only pure genius (Monty Python) would pick up on something like this
this is the best song in the movie.
@CamillaCalamity: This music plays in heaven on a continuous loop.
Download link in the description. Enjoy.
Soon, every company in the world will have this as a 'please hold' tune and every cell phone will come w this ring-tone programmed.
Sadly not yet
I remember when I watched this with my friends a few years ago, we kept listening and waiting to see when the song would stop playing and everytime it looped we laughed like hell.
It all seemed so incredibly ridiculous and comical for some reason, it NEVER stopped. =P
I googled "organ music that people use for intermissions" just to find this.
Then you should watch Monty Python and The Holy Grail.
I heard this on a SpongeBob YTP, been trying to find this song for years!
Best scene
best music
This on cellphone --> "Hold on a sec, I am busy not picking the phone up."
LOADING...
IT'd make a great ringtone too :D
and there was much rejoicing!
*yaay*
'What, behind the rabbit?' 'It is the rabbit!'
Even the intermission of this film makes me lose my shit.
ya know, one of those goddamn peices of elevator music that you have to listen to when some company or other puts on hold when you call them
they need to play this at ball games. only MP can do this in a movie.
The majestik møøse
We apologize for the fault in the subtitles, those who were incharge have been sacked.
Mind you møøse bites can be quite nasty
Its so awesome that ill find that grale
this needs a ten hour version :3
