    These conversions are the best that I’ve seen in all my obsessive TH-cam viewing! Love that this owner opted for something with a little more personality and a bit more contemporary than the well-trodden new farmhouse style.

    Your vans are always extremely professional, you've hit the sweet spot with what you produce. Nearing the end of my own build and could only dream of emulating what you guys do.

    Hi guys,
    We making a sprinter conversion based on your Stacia model, (best I’ve ever seen).
    We have a Thetford triplex but want it under the worktop like you have it in Kunu.
    Can you do a video on how to fit your worktops with the cooker and sink under the worktop? Or maybe explain how if it’s easier?
    I’ve notice you do it like this in a few of your models and thinks it’s brilliant. We have a walnut worktop (27mm). Is a jigsaw ok to use on it? Or what would your recommend?
    Thanks again for some amazing inspiration.
    Looking forward to the next video.
    Regards
    Karen

    Thank you for sharing your excellent, high-quality projects and ideas! I hope you are still replying to comments for this 11-16-2021 video. I am curious about your "vandebar" (sp?) pull-up bar (at time frame 6:35). I had a similar idea in mind (but a bit more extensive), and am wondering if you bolted your support sleeve tube to the roof (likely via collar brackets?), or welded it, or both. My welder says welding alone will not hold my full body weight plus pull-up force. So -- if you did bolt your sleeve tube to / through the roof, did you also reinforce the interior of the roof with a form-fitted steel plate? Just trying to narrow down what actually works and will last for daily workouts while full-time RV'ing. Thanks again for sharing your work, and for any reply (hopeful).

    Hi guys another great looking van, I’ve watched all of your vids I think including the panel wall build guide using 9mm grooved ply, can I ask if you use the same technique and material (9mm) for the rear and side opening doors as well, if so how do you fix these, do you use shelf taping screws straight through the metalwork? Many thanks for any info, cheers

    • @vanlifeconversions
      @vanlifeconversions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Scott, thank you for the kind words and support. On the doors we go slightly thinner and use 6mm poplar plywood. Where the window’s are boxed in We glue and screw battens on the back face to provide structure for the windowsill and boxing in to be fixed into. The door panels are screwed into the hollow metal areas of the door with self tapping screws and we cover these screws with screw caps so that the panels are completely removable (in case you ever need to get to the locking mechanism for repairs etc).
      We hope this helps
      Thanks again

    Hi absolutely fantastic design and attention to detail ! We are currently doing our own self build Fiat ducato - could you explain how you drop the triplex oven down to enable it to be under mounted ? Also we are really struggling on covering awkward bulk head pillars ? Do you template these and instal plywood ? Thank you 🙏🏻

    • @vanlifeconversions
      @vanlifeconversions  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you, We install it into the kitchen unit and then add the worktop on top. We cut out a section so that it can hinge up and add ventilation holes to ensure this isnt covered. Yes they are tricky, we box them in but a simpler option would be to carpet them

    Love your vans they are great do you have a design for 2 single beds as I am now a disabled passenger and can't use a raised bed so my husband and I are thinking single beds might be a good option?

    • @vanlifeconversions
      @vanlifeconversions  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you, we don't unfortunately have 2 single beds but we are releasing a dinette style bed in the next few weeks on our website in which the bed will be at seat level rather than high up. Let me know if you want any more info

      @@vanlifeconversions oooh awesome. I was going to build one to attach to my unistrut roof channel but didn’t want to compromise the roof seals by constantly putting weight on it. Be interesting to see how you did it.
