- Chell and Wheatley have some practical problems while in one of Aperture’s many elevators.
Incredible voice acting from the game “Lego Dimensions: Portal” animated by me in Source Filmmaker. Hope you enjoyed, thought I’d try some Portal animating again.

It always catches me off guard when I remember just how big Wheatley actually is
Yeah when I first saw him in the game I thought his size is about as big as a soccer ball
@@msf2000 His size is over exaggerated so you don't miss his expressions and so he doesn't look small when put into GLaDOS's body. So, he would actually be about the size of what you originally thought he was, the size of a soccer ball.

What ELSE would he do
A lot of clipping when Wheatley was nudging Chell but everyone else was great.

I'm glad Wheatley changed his ways when returning to Aperture in Lego Dimensions.
Idk why but when Wheatley said "Oh, another elevator!" I just kinda laughed.
I realize humans are a hell of a lot more complicated to animate than cores, so I understand wanting to edge Chell out of frame. But I still would've liked the camera to be more focused on the two of them in the beginning instead of just Wheats. But aside from that, you did do an excellent job on him. Especially shrinking his eye when he got scared.
Wheatley reminds me of a certain someone in the first scene...

Why was Wheatley and Chell (literally) hitting on each other??? Like wouldn't that hurt Chell's arm since Wheatley was LITERALLY and basically punching her with the side of his face? That has gotta hurt!

Apart from the clipping, it was hella smooth. Really liked it :)
He loves her so much... Whether it’s romantic or platonic, it’s completely up to the viewer

It depends on what kind of Wheatley it is. If it's the cannon core Wheatley, then I see as platonic. But if it's the humanized design the fandom came up with, then I see it as romantic.

Okay, now that I have looked into it a bit more, there could be a good chance he likes her romantically as a core as well.
@@furry-big_boi1283yes the human and core one are the same but when something is a human its more "shipble" i mean there is a ship of Isabela(from encanto) and elsa(from frozen) and the worse is that the abdl shipers make one or the two of them act like a baby but not be the age of a baby(yeah the comunity its crazy)

i know this was 4 months ago but here is a explanation, this if from the portal lego dimensions pack and the lego model just happens to be that big, and for some reason wheatley learned to use antigravity?

That's actually how big he is in-game. Look at Chell through a portal in the scene where you override the turret manufacturing scanner with a faulty turret.
Yeah he’s always that big he just looks different from when you’re holding him, chell could fit inside Wheatley if he was hollow

@@otherrad1240 No actually, it's from the Portal 2 level pack in lego dimensions, look up the cutscenes yourself if you dont belive me.

Pretty sure this scene was in the original game. I remember it along with some of these lines. Specifically the “Not having fingers for button pressing.” and the “Bother, bother, bother!!!” ones, and I’ve never interacted with the LEGO version before.

It reminds me of Lego Dimensions and their variation of the Cores where they float; also, GLaDOS is pulling some right pranks with elevators.

Why is Wheatley fixed? Isn’t he damaged at the start of the game?
No, at the first part of the chapter he was ok until GLaDOS crushed him. Then in the rest of the chapters he was then broken looking, even after the core transfer he still looked broken.
@@ZoologyFan2023 correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that audio from the lego dimensions game? So it's supposed to happen after the events of Portal 2, where for some reasons Wheatley and Space Core are back on Earth and Wheatley can float in the air like we see in this video.
