I love that Cheryl calls her agent 'Gracie' Hart and not Grace. It's a clever way to underline that she really transformed in this movie, that she'll always have a little of Gracie Lou Freebush in her.
Back when DVDs were the medium, I watched this movie again with Sandra Bullock's commentary track. She referred to Benjamin Bratt as "Beautiful Ben" through several of the scenes.

I also remember once listening to the commentary with earphones on. That particular movie had the director and lead actor doing joint commentary. The director's voice was in my left ear, and actor's voice in my right. That really felt like the two ppl were on my couch watching with me and chatting about the movie!
She literally saved them all from being blown up. And before that she showed the ladies they can still live a little and have fun instead of spending their nights in the gym and brought them all a little closer together instead of just being contestants competeting against each other.

Most of the time he called her ugly, mocking her, sometimes undermine by being condescending and not listening to her. So this bullshit last-minute came out of nowhere failure to build up any romantic tension kiss I disregard. No wonder he dumps her in the sequel because he never cared about her in this film.
I love Gracie Hart and Eric Matthew's because it's romantic to give a kiss in the end and save the San Antonio to Texas. It's my best heroes ever in this movie and it's funny actors. I love this movie because it's make me happy in the end and I wont World Peace. 😊❤🎉

Well, she is acting on keeping the peace in her community, thus actively participating in contributing to that cause in her own way. Also, a peaceful world would mean an easier job for the police force. Can't a person wish to have an easier, less stressful life?
I’m not even surprised that he ended up breaking up with her in the second movie because ever since the beginning of the first movie we got a glimpse of what his nature was when it came to women, he is a player who goes out with many different girls and hooks up with them and then he went and tried to date Gracie because he found her hot and couldn’t just ditch her after hooking up with her because she’s his coworker but he probably realized at some point that he couldn’t do the whole dating thing and therefore broke up with her and went back to his old ways.
Too bad Eric didnt stay for the 2nd movie. Oh well. I own the 2nd, sometimes watch it.. I love the girl power between Gracie and the black cop. I can't remember her name

Exactly he did that not her he got me into makeup when I was in my 30’s by put TH-cam videos on my screen n I started putting on makeup n started changing my way off dressing cuz I was like Daisy or the one who acting like my daughter Daisy that goes out in sweat pants hair all over the place n I started wearing short dresses n my guys didn’t like it well some didn’t I guess they saw me as they was trying to make me a bitch or something cuz I had one come out his house to get me with that song somebody come get her she dancing like a stripper at 4am u know how embarrassing that is having someone come out side n get u from the car with that song just cuz ur wearing a short dress like I don’t like short dresses either but I was doing what I had to do but I think that person maybe had a problem with girls that wear short dresses maybe his the officer that don’t eat pork n like the women to be all cover up cuz he has threatened my kids n wait her they change there look or he kill them n replace them cuz my kids had one thing like me they would do there eyebrows just like me perfectly done they was good at that n I started notice that they was t doing there eyebrows or there makeup anymore n dressing like in sweat pants n stuff not like they was following my lead before the new look not the old n it seem they change to my old look when they was doing my new look
The ending was so beautiful to see all the Contestants around her in appreciation of what she has done. Extremely emotional!
