Great job on this one. Too bad the basement was flooded out. Piques my interest as to what was in there. Seems like there was so much pulled out of the kitchen etc. The Master Bathroom blew me away. The Jaccuzi was way cool. Take Care & Peace Out.
Just wanted to take a minute and say that you can tell when a home was abandoned based on the date of a garage door opener some of the openers I have seen in your videos a newer (past 5 years) so you can see when they were installed automatic doorman are very old and rare openers definitely in my opinion a very cool find!
Thanks, Ethan for another interesting explore. So sad to see this nice home in decent condition about to be demolished. 😞 (Of course who knows what lies beneath the water in the basement!)
Looking at videos on Ethan's channels, I have grown to powerfully despise Canadian developers. There has to be some sort of fishy short term money grubbing scheme going on with them, because the area is developing like crazy. Yet, I see no indication of a dramatically booming economy justifying that.
If the basement is flooded, maybe the house is located on a dip, where the water of melting snow descended upon it? It is a big setback I have noticed with certain Canadian houses. Flowing water can terminally affect the sill plate and the entire foundations. It is a good house, but it'd realistically be too expensive to renovate it =/
Even though all the fixtures/appliances are gone and we can't see how grand it was, at least the house won't be demolished with them included. Hopefully they'll be put to good use.
All these houses were so nice. Such a shame to tear down a whole neighborhood. I hope you will update us when they start building the new houses or whatever. I love abandoned houses but I also like new builds 😂
Very nice wooden banister to the stairs, reasonably pleasant looking house they almost always are flooded in the basement thanks for another great video Ethan.
An interesting house outside but apart from that main staircase a really bland house inside. The ceilings seem really low too! Cool explore as always Ethan
Wonder if they cut the carpet to see if there was hardwood floors underneath. It's the only thing I could think of. Ethan thank u for all the videos. I really enjoy watching them. U seem to be a really respectful young man. My husband and I pray to Jesus every morning for u and for your safety. God Bless and stay safe!
Is this house from the14 house neighborhood. I recognize the house by the cut out of carpet in the master bedroom. Can’t imagine why they did that. Sad that all those beautiful homes are gone forever except as seen in your videos. Love that double sided fireplace although I’m iffy about the mirrors. Imagine double the living space if that basement was finished. I wonder what that neighborhood now with overcrowded cookie cutter houses looks like now. Thanks for sharing Ethan. Take care, be well and stay safe! Hey don’t you have a birthday soon? Hope it’s a happy one!
It's really sad to see these beautiful homes destroyed. I can't see how these big corporations are allowed to force people out of their homes for buildings that will be empty in a few years.
Another nice home. At least a lot of items were taken/salvaged. That's a plus rather than being bull dozed into rubble. 😊 I liked the master bedroom... closet and bath. 😊 very nice. Thank you for sharing, Ethan. Another good video 😊😊
Another great explore, Ethan. It's nice to see they removed most of the salvageable items before the demolish date. The majority of the homes are filled with things I would love to have. Seems like such a waste when I'm sure ppl would buy the items if given the option. Such a shame to see this place go, but I'm guessing the water damage is pretty severe.
What a criminal waste. It’s obscene. Why does this seem to happen only in Canada? Is their property market that broken by twisted finance and construction companies?
15:47 Well, it seems like the carpeting being cut adds up with your observation about the house having semi attempt of renovation. It was done so, maybe to survey the general state of the floor and to see if there wasn't other layers covered by the latest carpet. At any rate, the one who did this initially didn't have any intention to have carpet on this room.
I'm totally surprised that a home this large and of this caliber doesn't have a linen closet or cabinet inside the master bathroom. The one in the hallway at end would be for the other bedrooms and bathroom. MY house which was a very modest 1300 sqft had a linen closet for the other bedrooms and bath and My much smaller bathroom in My Master had a actual linen closet inside the bathroom.
It always makes me laugh when you notice the basement it flooded and how “disappointed” you seem 😝 We know you don’t like basements lol “Awww… it’s flooded…” I love it lol Keep it up 😎👌🏼
Looks like they salvaged some things. That’s good. That basement is gross! The water looked nasty-and my regard for basements is not real high, so this basement is extra nasty!!
Would have been a nice home to live in. Yep, its dark with the windows boarded up. I have seen all kind of explorers use a flashlight attached to a hat thing. Maybe we can you get something like that to help you. Again, very sad to have it torn down. Great features. Thank you for the explore. Stay safe and healthy. 😂
Is it just me, or did that laundry area have a way too much going on in the space?! Closet, bathroom, garage entrance, laundry & basement entrance. Yikes! The wood railing was nice tho, and i like the substantial fireplace (that teacup is not cheap, btw). I even like the mirrors on that wall, and i normally hate mirrors! 😄I think i miss the light coloured wood from that era most of all. Thanks for another great explore!!
So you May have figured out already the room with the fireplace was the family room (right off kitchen area) and the large High ceiling room was the formal living room.
Just a question, I’m sure I’ve seen this exact video before, are these just old videos reposted? No having a go, I enjoy all your videos Ethan, but I’m just curious here!
? The title indicates that the family got up and left the home. However you stated after you were walking around, that the second owner sold it to a developer. Mm
What a waste of money an sad 😢 that these perfectly good homes getting demolished 😢 thank you documenting these homes Ethan ❤
Thank's Ethan. For another great house find. This one is beautiful and with a little work could be lived in again.
Well you are pass 107K when I watched this, great job Ethan

JUST PLAIN DISTURBING …. to demolish a perfectly GOOD HOUSE …. and using up resources to put something in its place

Well everywhere you see a big box store, mall, etc was once more than likely homes. That’s just progress.
Beautiful ❤! It's a shame this will be torn down! What a waste! Thank you for sharing this with us!

Beautiful house, hate to see it destroyed
Didn't need to be destroyed!😢 Nice place!😊

Ab fab Ethan...stunning....sad another one being pulled down 😢 stay safe well and happy 💋

It looks like it was a really , nice house at one time. Thanks Ethan keep them coming 😁💜🇵🇷☕️
Hey Ethan thank u for another great adventure. Such a shame this is being torn down. The basement might have been saved if it wasn't.
Hello Ethan ✌🏻👋🏻
Wow what an awesome home! It’s missing a closet in the master bedroom!? Sad it’s flooded
An interesting house outside but apart from that main staircase a really bland house inside. The ceilings seem really low too! Cool explore as always Ethan

Absolutely 💯 amazing and sad 😢.. Mmmmm 🧐

Beautiful ❤
Don’t you think that maybe the intercom’s in the bedrooms were upside down so the kids could reach the right button?
Thinking left handed, maybe
Of course!! Smart thinking

Hello again from New Zealand 🇳🇿, look at your subs! In a weird kinda way I’m really proud of all that you’ve achieved. Been watching from the start!
80s upper tier tract. Not ostentatious but nice.
Watch out for the cobwebs in the dark

A plus point of this house, at least they seemed to have rescued a lot . Cool house even in the state its in you can envision how it looked xx

You need to wear hip waders to explore the basement.
Nice

there were 14 houses here and i might have got a few of them mixed up. so if i’ve already posted this one it wasn’t intentionally posted twice.
Mirrored wall is a srceam!
who the heck came up with this wall. I have seen many mirrored walls, tacky, but the one You show has life to it.
Ethan I just watched you on urban exploration pod cast, with your friend from big banks, you looked really good bud😊
@@sannaarola9897 it's from urban explorer
Basement flooded. The house may have black mold.
Maybe that's why the owner left
I remember this one
Why are the basements always flooded?
power shut off means the sump pump in the basement shuts off and the basement floods.
? The title indicates that the family got up and left the home. However you stated after you were walking around, that the second owner sold it to a developer. Mm
Is what a waste
first comment btw
Love this house
