The Jays getting Yesavage at 20 was a shocker for me, could not believe he fell to them...
7th is the highest the Cardinals have drafted in many,many years. Several consider J.J. Wetherholt a steal at 7.
Teams don't save money when they underslot, they only save in that round. They will spend that money on later picks. I hate when commentators try to imply a team is cheap because they go underslot.
To not mention the Jays landing Trey Yesavage feels kinda like BS to me. He was the consensus third best SP in the draft and they were gifted him at 20. I love Caminiti but you can’t mention him as a steal without Yesavage imo

Salvador perez chases a lot and he’s been pretty good in the mlb. Jac may just be one of those players who chases but is a good bad ball hitter like perez but with more power even.

He played all of outfield, 3B, and 1B in Georgia. His best spot might be a corner outfielder though.

Guardians will never win with the current ownership..Very heartbreaking to be a die hard CLE fan.
All they have to do is pony up 90 extra million dollars every 3 year to sign a 30 million dollar stud. We could of had Lindor still playing short stop and not roccio. I am a fellow Guard fan also. The Dolan's do not like to lose money not even a little. They look at the Guardians as solely an investment . I hope they sell the team to Dan Gilbert or Jimmy Haslam, but they do not want to give that team up and is sad.

He cant hit off speed pitches, he qwt to the right place he has power will put up decent numbers in the Colorado altitude, but gonna strike out a ton too. Guardians got the best in the draft. Id taken JJ or Kurtz over Condon.

I like Condon but Bazzana is as close of a super star you are going to get. He was the best player period. Highest barrel rate, barely strikes out. A proven .400 hitter and also has 30 HR Power with gold glove leather. Condon is a great pick but Bazzana was the best player
