ROFL “If the ziptie is like all the other parts on this boat it will be a piece of shit and break”. I restored a 97 3.0LX and I feel you. I will watch your other videos to see how this went, hope you got her running right. Mine needed a lot of resto too. Took me about 2 years of off and on work to get it right.
Lol I got the same exact engine in my boat and I cleaned up the engine but sadly the owner befor me put the wrong gas in it so I got to siphon the gas and flush out the system and the tank so I can safely start my boat up with out destroying my motor.
You have now converted your boat into something a shop will not work on because of liability. Not dissing your ability it’s just you “manufactured” the fuel system and therefore have conducted all safe practice to make sure it meets coast guard standard.(which it doesn’t)

What do you use for fuel/water separater?
Can you make an update video on the fuel pump working and what about the carb vaccum line do you just plug that hole?
Where can I get the block off plate for the fuel pump?? Terrific video. Thank you! I just order the fuel pump. Great idea.
Can you show top of engine I'm working on mine but it has no carb I wanna see the linkage
Take the pump out the right way ! Take off fuel line !

Don’t need to go on a journey of discovery with you…better to figure it out first and then make the video to explain it. Thanks
