@chamblind , no suspense is when you know a danger is there and it could happen at any time so it keeps you on edge. This is more like mystery or intrigue. But it's poorly done here because there should be progress towards solving the mystery along the way.
This episode is so stupid - why didn't they just leave town right away when the deal went wonky! Instead they hung around until everything went into the toilet! Aghhhhhh stupid episode!
The guy was driving a hard bargain in the price and they wanted to see if they could get him to go up. It's a hell of a long way to just turn around with no sale.
*SOUND PROBLEM REMEDY* *I figured out a while back that when they upload videos with messed up sound or no sound like alot of the ones this person uploaded that if you use headphones or a separate speaker such as plugin speaker or bluetooth speaker that you'll be able to hear it fine. I don't know how or why it works, but that's actually how I'm watching it right now with headphones on.*

Candy was my favorite addition to bonanza and more likeable than Adam in my opinion.
