That has to be by far, one of the best episodes of Bonanza, in my opinion. I don't know how many times I cried on this one, but it sure was emotional, inspiring, and rewarding. It reminds me of my relatives that grew up as pioneers of Washington, California, and Nevada in the mid to late 1800's.
well , if way more people and familys could be like that these days , trying to understand each other and reason instead of sceaming and yelling it might turn out good in the end like in this ep . i felt the urge of crying here and there too.
Like all other viewers, I ❤ this episode too. The cute girl reminded me of Laura of Little House On the Prairie, her voice and her buck teeth. She sure was an excellent little actress😀.Thanks so much for sharing the video.
I join the Bonanza fan club commenting on another well put together episode, I believe a lot of credit should also go to the people in the background who put in a lot of effort making these brilliant shows, I thank you folks appreciate your good work.
Among the many attributes of the Cartwrights, is Ben's leadership, his voice of wisdom and fatherhood, as the patriarch of his Ponderosa, is their love for everyone, and accepting all, such an amazing example of how to live life.
Wow I've never seen this one before. What an adorable little girl she was. A bit of a brat at times. But then again we probably all were brats when we were little kids. One thing I don't get though is when the woman said her husband wanted a son. What is the big deal about a man getting to have a son. Daughters are just as important as sons are. I guess it's just about carrying on the father's name. Yes I suppose it's great getting to have a son but it's just as wonderful and valuable having a daughter too. And this was a wonderful amazing episode of Bonanza if I do say so myself.
Ahhh the good ol'e days when you could ship your kid away on Western Union. Maybe Fedex and UPS should look into this, could still be a market for it :^)
Bonanza shows, most of their westerns have good morals especially this one! It gave me tears Not even justified shootings in the name of the law on this one. Dad used to put Bonanza on the TV tube when he was home from work from fiery hot steel mill.
if a parent ever talks themselfs into thinking that there child is grateful to be spanked and they know ur very worried about them is the most insane shit ever, i only saw it as my parents showing me whos stronger, sure i mighta done somthing wrong but at the time and for many years later i never thought of it as them being nice to me
*SOUND PROBLEM REMEDY* *I figured out a while back that when they upload videos with messed up sound or no sound like alot of the ones this person uploaded that if you use headphones or a separate speaker such as plugin speaker or bluetooth speaker that you'll be able to hear it fine. I don't know how or why it works, but that's actually how I'm watching it right now with headphones on.*
Personally I don’t think that brat throwing a hissy 🐍 fit and wrecking poor Hop Sings and breaking a bunch of dishes is a very funny thing for Ben, Hoss and Joe to be laughing and giggling about. I guess I’m just not in the mood for slap 👋 stick comedy today. I’m going to pan this movie for awhile and watch something more serious 🧐. I may finish watching this movie later. 👋👋👋
If that was me and he was taking my sister away from me because I’m never gonna have kids anyway if he was trying to take my sister away from me and she ran away and we were out looking for her and he fall in the river and got sick I wouldn’t help him if it was up to me and it would be to i would let him lay there with No help
So much to learn from the Cartwrights. Always thinking positive, reaching out positive and very inclusive.
Bonanza has got to be one of the best shows ever on TV
An episode revealing the consequences of failing fathers. Thanks for those among us who do well as well as repair damages

Naw,all you have to do is give them a cell phone, be on yours all the time and same thing!
Don’t need this market, too much evil targeting kids.
